You can build dreads/carriers if you can get an X-large ship assembly array into place. The array you need to build supercaps cannot be anchored unless you hold sov 1 or greater, which is impossible in wormhole space. --- 20:1 mineral compression ISRC Racing, Season 7 - schedule |

Can anyone say "LOOPHOLE" in CCP's WH game mechanics!

Personally I'd say more like "working as intended". You can't take supercaps through wormholes, and you can't build them there. You can however take caps through wormholes, and you CAN build them there. Seems logical.

I r dumb then. I was under the impression that caps other than freighters were not allowed in WH space.

ive been wondering, does this mean i can take a carrier into a wormhole, then take it out through another hole that enters into high sec space? deep magic ends here |

Nope. Mass limitations on WHs to highsec prevent you from doing that.

Yes, its funny. Mass limitations prevent BS and larger to enter CLass 1 systems. Mass limitations also prevent capital ships from going into empire.
Yet, people seems to think that just be course some dev vaguely said supercaps could not go into WH space, that they have made some strange mechaninc to prevent this, even though it could have been done with mass limitation, just like the other rules. Limits do NOT prevent supercaps in wh-space. Some other woodoo are doing that..
Personally, I still call shinnaigans on the claim that supercaps cant go in until someone actually tries it and proves that a WH with the right limit size wont take them.

GL finding somebody willing to try throwing their 18bil MS through a wormhole that'll probably not let them back again.
I don't see any reason to take MS in tbh

If the wormhole data is still accurate, the maximum mass-per-ship of almost all wormholes is below the 1.6 billion kg mass of a mom, and all of them are below the 2.0 billion kg mass of a titan (gee, we're not allowed to just doomsday them? Big surprise there ).
The wormhole types with a per-ship limit of 1.8 billion kg that would allow a mom through barring other mechanics (with destination system type) are:
C248 (0.0) C391 (lowsec) K329 (0.0) N290 (lowsec) U319 (Class 6 W-Space)
However, the first 4 may only be normal space -> normal space wormholes (still waiting for a news story of a cyno-jammer being taken down by a group of dreads jumped in via a wormhole), and the last only within wormhole space, in which case moms are excluded via the per-ship mass limits from entering W-Space. Even if these can spawn in a way to allow moms into W-Space, there does remain the questions of if a further mechanic prevents moms from entering (would be odd, no reason for the per-ship limit to be that high if there is), and what the heck the sleepers would do when you dropped a mom on them, given the stories of their responses to normal caps. If the additional spawn doesn't screw you over, a triaged Hel would certainly be an interesting way to handle logistic support in high end sites...

Slight correction: 1.8 allows for all Titans. The 1.35B kg allows for moms. Both of these sizes are set more or less exactly to match the max size titan and mom respectively.
