Well im sure this has been posted before but this is to help all the new miners with a second account avoid hulkageddon.
1. Warp main to belt.
2. Log on to 2nd account grab trash low level (one who you dont care about sec status) toon warp to belt in rookie ship and attack your miner.
3. Concord shows up and you feel all nice and cozy. (no ganker will hit you with concord 10k away from your miner)
4. Log on to 2nd mining or hauler toon and proceed to mine in safety untill concord leaves (not sure of the timer).
5. When concord leaves repeat step 2.
I hope this helps. I checked the EULA this is not an exploti it is a completely legit mechanic. (granted it is looked down upon but who cares it saves you a 300mil hulk). |

a quick point is that the gankers can have a trash toon to draw concord away from the belt then gank you 300mill hulk not so safe anymore

Valid point which I did see happen in an ice belt last night but the counter to that is said ganker had to utilize a pilot to pull concord off you rather than hit you so its less damage said ganker is putting out. Win for the miner. Also once the decoy attacks concord big flashy red box appears in overview which gives us miners enough time to get the hell out of dodge.
I like your idea though I will have to try it out. |

Don't forget hat concord leaving your belt, could be an advanced warning that someone is in the process of pulling them intentionally from your belt to gank you. If you bring concord to your belt, just make a habit of warping to a safe, the second they leave, until you feel the coast is clear, whereby you start the process laid out by the op all over again. |

I fail to believe that the gankers would bother to take time to draw Concord away from a belt. They would just move on and find a simpler target. There are so many out there, why would they bother? |

Even if they recycle their soon-to-be low sec status character?
If so, that's a green light to entirely different kinds of fun. Daily alpha noobship roams anyone? |

It is theoretically if you do it for the sole reason of getting rid of the negative sec status. But then who is to judge. |

Righto,
recycling alts to bypass game mechanics, (security standing in this instance), is not permitted in any way!

I recently lost a hulk to hulkageddon and decided to try this tactic in a belt this morning and it worked. Another crew tried to gank me once again but failed miserably. I laughed as they threatend to report me. Gankers tears are so sweet especially when you loot and salvage the wrecks.

that is why I log in my second char in a noob ship and attack a can in a belt nearby, since that will despawn you concorde spawn and allow me to relog and go kill your ship :) |

if you have more than one trash alt, you can spawn multiple concord fleets by attacking with the alts at the same time, assuming they're in a different location. becomes much more difficult for gankers to draw concord away. only issue becomes if they can alpha you. in that case, concord won't help. |

Drawing concord out of the belt will increase their response time. if you draw concord out to 300au then they warp 300au to kill your noob ship and then have to make the trip back to kill your miner ganker. Depending how many au you can drag concord out it can increase their response time up to an extrra 10 seconds or more just agress a cargo can you dropped in your deepest safe. DO NOT ENGAGE MINER UNTIL CONCORD HAVE DESTROYED YOUR 300AU NOOB SHIP. If you go gcc before concord kill your 300au noob ship alt then EVE will spawn more concord which will have much faster response time to kill your ganker
As stated by ISD drawing concord is not an exploit which is why I shared this. I always thought moving concord is an exploit but apparently not. I think if you have any old very deep safes you could have a lot of fun ganking many miners at the same time if you spawn concord 1000 au away or such. Sadly I do not own any safes like this.
The important thing is to prevent multiple concord fleets spawning at same time or you will lose the time advantage as long as you keep to one GCC at anyone time then there will only be one concord fleet which you can move very far away from yourself, you can gain good time advantages if you do this. Even if multiple concord fleets are already in system all will be dragged away just make sure they are all on grid before you go GGC on miner.
This was before boomerang nerf I'm not sure if that nerf also killed this move. |

so basically you are not allowed to start a new char after recycling a char with negative standings? where is the line between 'i don't like this toon's face' and ' i'm doing this to fck over CONCORD'? |

I would assume it is determined the second time you "do not like the toon's face" right after he hits -5.0 or lower sec status. |

...What's the problem of making it into some kinda planetary interaction alt or something anyway..? It's not like it can't train skills... And if you REALLY have to, use it to clear the rats and mission a bit with it, security status isn't THAT hard to regain... |

1. it wont stop alpha ganks, although I'd guess those would be slightly less common as it would be much cheaper to use a few destroyers/cruisers
2. might give you an extra 15m or so of freedom as they just gank people in the other belt. |
