Edited by: Jolinar malkchour on 16/05/2009 17:15:42 Great tool Permits to play in windowed and full resolution of the screen in windows seven without loosing a centimeter of screen at bottom, by using "hide borders" after maximising the window
Still have some stability and reliability issues (unfortunatly my knowledge don't permits me to say in which way). Keep on the good work :)

I like this thingy :-)
But would be nice if it auto-adapts to the windowsize of the eveclient and some shortcuts to swap through the different loaded clients.

Edited by: Chimay on 08/06/2009 22:02:56 I gave this a try today for a few hours. I must say, I love it! Switches between the windows quickly, no more Alt Tab back and forth. Best of all Full screen on all of them!
Now on to suggestions: The tabs you select per each toon. Could you add a option to rename the tab? That way you could name the Tab by each toon name, so you don't get them confused.
My 2nd suggestion is adding a few more tabs, I have 5 accounts (yes I know) but I know others with more and that would love this software.
3rd and last suggestion. Adjusting the sidebar to match EVE interface colors to blend in more.
Thank you very much for making this, it's awesome. Blobs = Men on Man Action

Just tested your application, and there is 1 thing.
I play in 1680 x 1050 and that is the size of my normal windows desktop resolution as well. when i use your tool it still uses 1680 x 1050 but because of your tabs on the left it push the picture to the right where it goes out of the screen. any help ?

Having the same problem at 1600 x 1200. Like Captain Zienna said I lose a small portion on the right side of my screen enough to not allow me to unpin my overview and other boxes on that side and to see important icons like warp scrams and webifiers. In addition to that a portion is also missing on the bottom cutting slightly into the speed indicator and completely cutting tabbed boxes and the clock out of the viewable screen area.
Excellent tool though, I look forward to using it if the mentioned discrepancies are fixed. Nice job!

I'm programming the new version. I'll do my best to publish it as soon as possible.
The program is written in Pascal.

Hi,
I just noticed that the Window-title of the Version 1.1 is "EVE Multiclient V1.2".
I'll correct this mistake and upload the correct Version as soon as possible.

That's normal. The only thing i can do to solve this problem is moving the tabs to the top/bottom of the program.
Now a question to you: I have 2 solutions for this problem for people playing in widescreen mode.
- When you maximize the window, the Tabs will automatic move to the top.
- A submenu in the traymenu to switch the tab position.
What do you think is the best solution?
Thanks Curyna

one of the bests tools, works good on windows 7, not that many hour of play yet but so far looks perfect
suggestion/idea
for me the tool is not that usefull, it does make broswing the net easier, it is a far better alt tab
what i would like it to have, is a function that shows at least 4 clients on the same screen res the same time(screen split), it is impossible to do with eve as the lowest res that you can have is 800x600 window mode and in a 1920x1080 it doesn't work good as you can have max 2 clients and one overlaps the other
I am not a programmer and I am not sure if it is possible but seems doable to do the following,
Make the client to set the res on the fly, meaning when you reasize multiscreen eve clients should be resized as well on the ôfullscreenö of your app, not resize the real resolution of the eve client but rather scale down(zoom out)
This as I see it can happen only by tricking eve and windows, since eve only supports 800x600 minimum, you can possible use the desktop resolution for each client but, make you application able to scale down(zoom out) the eve client, to fit the area of multiscreen
If you can manage to do that then the following will be easy, work the split screen, with options on every tab so you can work different layouts on demand, ie lets say my desktop runs 1920x1080 ,if multiscreen is set up to an area of 960x1080 ( half screen of 1920x1080) then you can scale down 2 eve clients(that run at 1920x1080) each to scale at 540x960, one client on the top half of multiscreen and the other on the bottom half. Somehow Microsoft has done it, the quick preview pane on the task bar, that you see a small window when you hover the mouse on top of tab in the taskbar it show a small screen of the program, it must works with scaling as well
Now if you make something like this, I am donating serious isks :) and believe it will make a great hit

I have a question about this app. How do I know its not loging any keys when i enter my password? And for those that say well you dont have to type in your login id, what if this program takes a screenshot just before you type in your password, ie as soon as you tell it to catch the eve window it takes a screenshot that has your login id, then keylogs your password as you type it? What assurances do we have that this isnt taking place? Seems to me that the best and safest way to play eve with multi clients is make a custom resolution, that is just smaller than your default res, ie i have 1920X1200 but i have a custom res of 1914X1140 once you make that custom res, the eve client will see it. Then you can set eve to windowed mode, and use that custom res, and bam you can see your taskbar, websurf and play multi clients all with out the fear of someones program that may be kelogging your login.

Hi,
I don't log passwords and/or take screenshots. (I now everyone would say that.^^)
But if you don't trust me: Start EVE and log in before you start my app and catch the client. The only thing you have to do is diseabling the screen identifier.

I am noticing one problem on my system. I don't see any of the names on the tabs. I have to guess what char I am on. Other then that it is awesome, very low overhead; only 6 MB on my system.
Specs: Intel Q6600 2.4 GHz Quad Core 4 GB DDR2 RAM ATI X1650 512 MB VRAM (I know it is old but it was free) Just because I am ugly doesn't mean I can't be loved. |

Hi,
Tomorrow, I gonna be on holiday for a week.
To the Multiclient v 1.2:
I think the new version will be finished in 2-3 weeks.
I finished the variable Tab Position.
The Calculator and the Additional Tab souldn't become a problem.
But i've a problem with the overview.

I gonna contact you when i'm back, I wana know more about this problem.
So, finally: Guys, don't forget me.
Thanks, Curyna
