Does this latest patch work for anyone? I recopied my Tranquillity installation and applied the upgrade patch but all I get is a black screen. WinXp 8800GT.

The manual patch worked, and the game runs fine.

I haven't tested the TQ 86756 -> SiSi 88271 patch myself as I was already using the SiSi 87566 release.
All I can suggest is the following:
1) copy your TQ version to SiSi 2) Download & Run patch TQ -> SiSi 86756->87385 (135MB) 3) Download & Run patch SiSi -> SiSi 87385->87566 (3.05MB) 4) Download & Run patch SiSi -> SiSi 87385->87566 (128MB)

I always download&run the 'All-in-one' or 'M'anual patcher ( evepremiumpatch#####-#####_test_M.exe ), which I linked in the first post.
Good luck

I've tried the 87566->88271 old Singularity to latest Singularity patch and the 86756->88271 current Tranquility to latest Singularity patch with the same results in both cases. Black screen.
Guess I'm SOL until the next patch :(

I've now also tried auto updating a new Tranquility copy with the same result.
I've also copied Tranquility and manually applied the patches
86756->87385 87385->87566 87566->88271
At each stage I launched the client. At every stage the client loaded correctly and displayed the opening scene and server status. After installing the final patch the client loaded to a black screen. I can hit escape and get the options dialog to display, but attempting to change anything (like launching in a different display mode) just results in a crash to desktop.
Running both my Tranq and Sisi installs in safe mode and comparing the logs the first difference is this entry in my Sisi log.

After this there are several other audio related exceptions later in the log.
My audio is working fine though, and my Tranquility installation runs ok and the sound is fine. The exception message indicates 'global name 'sys' not defined'. Looks like a Python script syntax error.
I'll submit a bug report and see what happens.
