OK, Maybe CCP does not have a problem. But they may if they want people to explore wormhole pockets.
And granted, the T3 market is still very new, and prices have not completely stabilised.
But I am looking at something like C28.
C28 has a volume of 4.0 cu m. A Gas Harvester II mines 20 cu m/40 seconds. 5 Gas Harvester II's on a ship can then mine 25 units/40 seconds.
That is 2250 units/hour. Current Jita buy prices are 3100, sell is 4000. Let's assume they meet at 3500/unit.
2250 X 3500 = 7.875 million/hour.
Can someone in a Hulk mining Veldspar in high sec make more per hour than that?
Now, that is one example, but given the way T3 prices have been crashing the past couple weeks, there will soon be no economic incentive for anyone to work a wormhole pocket.

Should replace 'wormholes pockets' by 'low sec systems' and you would have the same never ending discussion...

If people are still mining gas at those prices, let them, I know I gave up on it as soon as it went below 30m/hour. It's really not CCP's just to dictate how much the gas should be worth.

It was crystal clear from the start (that is, since BEFORE Apocrypha 1.0 came live on TQ, back from SiSi tests) that wormhole exploration would end up as economically unfeasable (at least large parts of the T3 chain, especially gasses) pretty damned fast given all the ratios CCP was using.

There is one big difference:
- low sec has no exclusive content (at least as resources, FW complexes are exclusive to low sec);
- WH space is the only source of the gases used to build T3 ships.

Dont worry about it atm nobody really is building T3 ships on a large scale once they do, prices for things like gas minerals will go up again, atm people are doing the thing they can do solo ie gas mine but not key things like radar or mag sites (to get the BPCs) cos they require 4-8 people in the one where you get something remotely decent. Just wait it will all work out

Once CCP wises up and gives us Tech 3 modules demand should ensure a fair price. That of course will eman T3 ships will allways stay a high cost item...

Last I checked, only 3/9 of the gasses were more profitable then Veldmining in hisec.

Raw materials in eve are worth whatever the cheapest seller will sell for... anything new?

Depends on what we're comparing here..
For Gas Harvesting you need the Gas Harvesting skill, which is a rank 1 skill, to lvl5 for a maxxed out gas-miner. Then the cheapest ship to use would be the Moa. With that you can make roughly 10M isk per hour on the cheap gases.
Compared with a pretty straight forward mining cruiser with 400m3/min you can mine veldspar in high sec worth about 3M isk.
>> If w-sys would be easier accessible (scanning/logistics) I would bet, that we would see 5M/hr for maxxed-out gas-miners .

Last week we were at 5m isk/h for one gas, 6m isk/h for two or three others. I took 12m isk/h as veldmining income, and only three gases were above this. Judging on sell orders, that is. Buy orders are still in that range, many of them at least.
This week prices are a little higher, and order volumes low enough to make it difficult to claim what market value is. Though I'm not responsible for raising prices, I did at least help it along on the crappier ones.

Isn't this how the market will stabilize? Once people stop because they aren't making any money, people will start buying it for more and more per unit, until people see its profitable and start to harvest it again. Then the price goes down and the process starts over again.

The problem with the equilibrium which has been anticipated on sisi before apocrypha hit is that the isk/hr ratio in w-space will be to low for the risk/logistics involved, when t3 is supposed to be used on a wide basis. That's what all these posts about T3 lately are about..
