I was just wondering if making and selling custom tags like this is breaking the EULA in any way????
lemme know what u think.

Doubt it is breaking the EULA, it will just be breaking the law instead as far a copyrights go. So rather than a ban on your account, you would just be opening yourself up to receiving a letter from lawyers. ~ ☺ A Kirra Liu Presentation. Will give cyber for GTC ☺ |

As far as I'm aware when it comes to copyright law, you're gonna have the lawyers round if you try to sell them for real life money.
Your only choice would be to sell them for isk or simply give them away.

1. You're talking about trademark. 2. The chance CCP will agree to licensing is pretty slim seeing as they already sell their own products. ---

Do you enforce it as well as you enforce your policies regarding macro mining and isk selling??

P.S. To the OP... it's only illegal if they catch you. So unless you live in Iceland you have nothing to worry about. (And that is the cold truth of the matter.)

I really like it, I collect keychains, and that would be a great addition to my collection, if you can get approval to sell. What material are you using and how are you printing the images on the tag? I'm also assuming there is some leeway in what images you can print, like a corp of alliance logo. Definitely a nice looking prototype. -------------------------------------------------- Everyone is born right handed, only the great over come it. |

Edited by: Ghengis Tia on 18/05/2009 16:47:07 Whenever I switch ships I have to track down the friggin' keys, what a hassle. If you could offer them with different colors or those rubber color cover thingies it would be nice.....

Y2k, while I applaud your creativity and interest in EVE goodies, something like this violates our IP, so we wouldn't allow it.
Therefore locking the thread.
