Edited by: Lucricia on 07/09/2004 01:10:32 Edited by: Lucricia on 07/09/2004 00:46:21 I'm going to completely upgrade my computer.(new mobo, processor, powersupply, harddrive, ram, ect).
My new HD is a SATA drive, my old is a IDE. I want to run my OS and my games off the SATA(faster drive). EVE is included in that.
I am worried about uninstalling EVE and losing all my bookmarks/addressbook people. Is that held on the server, or on my own computer...if so, where on my computer? :)
Also, would I have to uninstall and reinstall EVE, or could I just drag and drop the CCP folder from my IDE to my SATA.
Thank you in advanced,
Lucricia - for all your t2 needs :)

to make sure your bm folders don't go away just copy the C:\Eve\cache\settings folder to the new installation of eve, and also copy the C:\Eve\cache\prefs.ini file to the new installation. |

Drag and drop copy works fine, I've done it a few times. Dont bother re-installing.

Drag-and-drop works fine. I've done it to a different disk many times. |
