I think we don't have one cause CCP is under the impressions that our drones still don't get stuck in space when we recall them.
That being said, we still DC often enough. Perhaps if that "scoop to drone bay command" that seems to do nothing allowed us to reconnect with our stalled drones in space . . . well my CNR wouldn't have to slow boat to 5 stalled drones while they are taking NPC agro
A small issue yes . . .
At least I can say my warriors dock now when I tell them to come home. Well... most of the time

I have to agree, how ******ed does your ship have to be to not be able to reconnect with drones that are yours. --- Grez: I shot the sheriff Kalazar: But I could not lock the Deputy BECAUSE OF FALCON |

Indeed a great idea, we can recall our probes, why not drones ? Safes a great amount of time, and keeps the drones from taking damage or even blowing up when NPC's aggro them.

A change like that would make even more senes now that drones suddenly auto-disband. Up until last week I have lost less than five drones TOTAL in four years when NPCing. This week I have lost several flights, because they auto-abandon on me and instantly warp out (wtf?). In belts, missions and exploration sites. - I'd tell you why but then I'll have to kill you. And to kill you I'd have to log in. And to log in I'd have to stop browsing these forums. Both you and me knows that'll never happen. |

I would love this, personally. Less people would die trying to get that last slow drone back into their bay. Just warp off then recall the drones.
It does make them more like fighters but as long as they can't follow hostiles around it shouldn't be a problem.

Hmm while a part of me likes the idea, another part also thinks that mission runners and whatnot already take little loss during gameplay. It forces people to buy more drones and supports the drone market.

Mission-runners aren't the only people who use drones.

i think people with some kinda hacking skill should be able to take control of another player's abandoned drones if they have the skills to operate them.

You can already just scoop them into your cargo bay and use them later?

You're 100K from a gate in a mission and your drones suddenly disconnect and you have to warp out. If you warp back in they'll be dead before you can scoop them. --- Sol: A microwarp drive? In a battleship? Are you insane? They arenĘt built for this! Clear Skies - The Movie |

Your knowledge of the market must be quite limited to think that mission runners are the primary driving force. ___ My views may not represent those of my corporation, which is why I never get invited to those diplomatic parties... Environmental Effects
