Hello! I apologize for the question but i can't figure out this problem alone...
I'm searching a list of the realtionship between the ID# and the name of the item in game (mostly market items). I've searched into the DB but i don't find anything about it...i think that the information is there but i can't manage to take it.

Check the invTypes table, the field typeID for example 29091 you will find to be Capital Pulse Shield Emitter etc.

Oh ty!
Hmmm extracting the names and the ID# is quite a long work for a newbie as me...
Is it possibile that no-one has an updated list of item? I can found only old spreadsheet around... I'm working on a xls spreadsheet and I need an updated list.

Edited by: DrefsabZN on 27/05/2009 10:23:08 So what is it exactly that you need?
Just a spreadsheet with typeID and the name? or do you need more info that that.

A spreadsheet (like google ones) with 2 columns: one with the name of the item and the second with the ID.
It's a really simple thing but i can't extract these info from the DB.

Here's the SQL to do it yourself before someone ask you to pay they for a 2 min job
select TypeID, typeName from invTypes;
with description
select TypeID, typeName, description from invTypes;
If you want only stuff that you see in the market you'll need to add a where clause to that which does take a little time to figure out. You might find some help with that at http://wiki.eve-id.net/SQL_Methods_on_the_dump

I suspect he's not familure with SQL. I've exported what you want and saved it as an xls (excel file). I tried to upload it to google docs but its bigger than their file size limit and I wasnt really going to mess about to much with it.
