Edited by: Twylla on 29/05/2009 22:10:43 Been trying to fix this problem for about a week now, so hopefully someone has more of a clue than I do.
Problem: EVE Voice checkbox is enabled, but no settings are available and the feature is unusable.
OS: Vista x64
What I've done so far:
-Specifically opened ports 5060 and 5062 on both Windows Firewall and McAfee Antivirus. Problem still exists.
-Unchecked and reloaded EVE. Rechecked and Reloaded EVE. Problem still exists.
-Confirmed non-essential programs were not running.
-Installed EVE on a system-restored Vista x32 laptop. EVE Voice works normally. Confirmed it is not a router issue or Vista (general) specific. Possibly an application incompatibility or system setting.
-Logged in on a different account. Vista x32 still functions normally, Vista x64 still fails.
-Uninstalled EVE and reinstalled on the Vista x64. Problem still exists.
-Ran as administrator. -Filed petition, no response yet after 24 hours -Verified problem does not exist in Knowledge Database

okay, re-narrowed it down.
It's the firewall.
I'm not sure what is wrong, but if I *disable* the firewall, eve voice operates normally.
if I enable the firewall, it becomes unavailable.
Here's the kicker. I have both ports 5060 and 5062 specifically open. There has to be another port EVE Voice is using that isn't being listed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~7

I`ve came up against this today.
Tried all the firewall disabling and a few other tweaks I found on here, but no eve-voice settings appear..
Anyone else have any idea WTF is causing this. Cause I`m out of em.!

Did you enable those ports for just TCP, or also for UDP. Vivox uses both.
