no... I won't mind loosing one. The only way I'll ever fly one is if my alliance buys me one.... which means the only way I'll lose one is in a stand up fight.
That's good enough for me :)

poor noob gets blowed up and whines. Instead of "I quit" thread, He expects the whole world to bow down and suck his ****.
Well, whine all you want, I can tell you it wont change. Ever. They'd loose much more subscribers if they did change over if they didn't. Terrible Idea, No cookie for you.
and no, I doubt you're a troll, just really, REALLY stupid. We dont need your kind here.

Seriously, actions without consequence? That changes the ENTIRE nature of EVE. Maybe you should pick up a copy of X3 or somethin.

Originally by: Zetrick The thrill of an MMO is supposed to be there is no "reset" button. Every action has a reaction be it positive or negative and mistakes you make brings the game more to life. Knowing someone I just killed might have gotten their stuff back honestly destroys the feeling of reality in this game.
You would have no way of knowing whether a player you gank saved their game or not. But if the only thrill you get is from ruining the game for others then most new players are going to quit and leave you hear alone. Then you'll get board and leave and then Eve will go offline because CCP won't have enough players to keep it going.
So the save button would only work when you're popping through a Jgate? How would that work then? How would it stop you hitting "save" at the beginning of every mission and always being able to act with impunity? How would it stop the bad people(tm) from hitting save just before they flip your can/suicide gank you?
Oh, and how the hell have you managed to get "several weeks" (of grinding) into the game without noticing that the first rule of Eve is "Don't fly with what you can't afford to lose"?
If you get your ship and fittings back for free, where's the sink? A save button would mean that there were never any losses, and the market would start inflating like the Big Bang.
Did. Not. Think. This. Through.
