Yeah i know im waaaaaay to lazy to lookup a vaga setup. i just got all my skills to decent levels (main ones level 5) and secondary ones most lvel 5 and 4. and i was wondering a good vaga setup. my skills are set towards shield tanking active or passive. and i use autocannons. i plan on running pvp with my brother and he would be in another HAC or a interceptor. so i need a standard good setup for vaga in small gangs and/or solo pvp. please include riggs. thanks. dont be scared to think outside the box though.. i would like more then one. :D thanks

I don't have a third gyro, because I favor the balance of a PDS with it's added cap and shield to be more effective for my uses. I don't have a nuet because it is ******ed to even THINK about being caught by a frigate. If you get caught by a frigate while in a vagabond, you are wrong, so very wrong. You can switch out the salvager for a HML, but I keep it on there because the damage difference is barely anything, and I also like being rich.

coool good ideas thanks guys i was thinking about swapping a shield extender for a invulability field tech2, and since ill be pvping with a ceptor or a tackler adding a shield extender in place of the warp disruptor, or a webb2

This is pretty much my exact fit, except that I use a T2 MWD and a T2 neut because they're cheaper. 2600 m/s, 4+29 opt+falloff will hit stuff out to 30km and on occasion I've managed to kill frigs burning away from me as far as 40km off. __________________________________

thats why most fits now have a MED neut... you are okay if they are over 9km away (your speed will leave them trailing behind which will reduce transversal) but if they web + scram then its bad news (esp if they kill your drones)
so flying advice is keep small **** at range and you shouldn't have to much trouble.... if they get under your remember to switch to something other then barrage (has a tracking penalty).

some of the fits i see differ slightly from mine, see what you think of this, anyone else feel free to be critical, but this is what i use, and I'm quite good in a vaga, its an awesome ship: Highs: 5x 220mm Autocannon II's And depending on what you do with your last high depends on what kind of person you are, if your a carebear then fit a mining laser or a salvager, if your a killmail ***** stick on a missile launcher of some description, other wise alternatives could be a medium neut, for killing ceptor cap.
Med slots: 2x Large shield extender II 1x Warp disruptor II 1x 10mn MWD
Lows: 2x Gyrostabs II (vaga is a high dps ship, one more gyro will mean less precious speed) 2x Overdrive II 1x I-stab II (its a cruiser so the i-stab does make the difference, trust me)

Same fit I've been using (stole the idea off neacail (sp?)), hardly ever use the neut, but it's proven itself useful to not have it fitted.

you aren't very good at this game are you?
1) EMP ammo only does about 1/3rd em dmg the rest is exp and kine 2) if you run in to someone who does a triple tank (exp kine therm) having that em hole is lulz 3) it has the highest shot for shot dps of any of the minmatar t1 ammunition 4) unlike barrage is has no tracking penalty but has slightly worse range 5) having mixed damage types is fun in case you run into someone who is fitting to resist your main dmg types.
