I'm not sure if this has been posted before or this is eve the right forum section to post such things.
Well i wouldlike to suggest some changes to contracts
In creating contracts i wish there was a way to make multiple copies of a buy or sell contract especially buy contracts. Also the add object from buyer tick box is not poperly sized. The entire line is the tick box sometimes i accidentally untick the option to buy things
In showing available contracts is it possible to just show the name of the item being bought or sold especially if its just a single item, its difficult to check all the tooltips to check what ore the corp wants to buy |

I can support this, if anything I would like a save option to save the contract for later use |

Yeah, making a load of exactly the same contracts for exactly the same type of mod is tedious. This would be handy.

This feature has numerous quirks that could improve it.
One, give us a hotkey for copy contract. #1 request.
Two, change the scanning behavior of the server. By default it should copy the contract from the hanger the first one was created from. The issue is, when copying contracts, it has no knowledge of the hanger it should use. So what happens is this... Say I have a hanger full of fitting ships, and another hanger of random looted mods. If a single module that is also on the ship, even though I am trying to copy the entire ship, appears in that other hanger, it will "find" that one first an attempt to list a single module. This can be mitigated somewhat by rearranging all your hangers so that hanger1 is your ship contract hanger. Still highly irritating.
Three, when mass contracting multiple fit ships in a single contract, do not make me say "yes i know this is modules in a ship" for every single ship. Just have me do it once. Contracting 1000 ships in a single contract right now is silly because of this. It makes you say yes 1000 times.
Four, let copying of a contract take from a larger stack. Copy is almost useless for it's original intended purpose when doing fitting ships. If i have a stack of guns, and modules, I should not have to hand split them before being able to copy. It should know to pull 8 guns off a stack without having to split 8 guns off first. #2 request. This could also be somewhat fixed if you just allowed multiple split in the UI. Split stack -> enter # of new stacks -> enter # in each new stack. So I could say give me 100 stacks of 8 each.
Fitting issue. Fix ghosting. You guys fix this, then reintroduce it, then fix it again, then reintroduce. This cycle has happened 3x in the last 2 years. This isn't directly contract functionality, but more fitting. Mass fitting ships at high speed resulted in a bugged item stack. Redocking or relogging is the only fix.

Its true that there is a copy contract and thats what we are using right now and we thankyou for that feautur, but it is severly lacking. Instead of doing 3-5 clicks per contract via copy comtract. I wish there was a way to do 10x of the same contract automatically especially for buys. Just make 1 contract with the option to replicat x times. |
