Or the John Rourke school of thought, where you have a crew and walk freely through your ship? Me, I'm of the John Rourke school of thought.

While Clear Skies doesn't follow this to the letter, you could always say it represents a non-capsuleer ship. New Eden Research, we have labs! And cookies!

But personally I would leave it to each player to decided if their pilot/avatar/character is in a pod or on a bridge. Anyways, Clear Skies does not really represent how a bridge would be on an EVE ship. Actually, the whole ship would have thousands in crew, but for sake of storytelling (a damn good one) and entertainment, only three people operate the ship. Edit : Also, to StationSpinner. Clear Skies is great, and uses what's called artistic license to create a more compelling plot and add more interesting visuals than the inside of a goo filled egg for 45 minutes. PS: Lay off Chribba. You're the only one that minds, and I'm sure your corporation and/or alliance won't appreciate being snuffed out because you couldn't contain your E-outrage. I like to think that my crew are all automata (like Andromeda perhaps) Soulless clones or advanced androids who perform the crew functions of the ship, but are as disposable as a tissue.

The Eve Chronicles make it quite clear that larger ships have crews of real people that number in the thousands under the command of the capsuleer.
