Yeah this guy has got some balls of steel. He has done shows on the violent gangs in america. Afganistan, Iraq and now the pirates in Somalia or somewhere.
This guy has been shot at, had suicide bombers aiming for him in iraq. read a article somewhere that the sale of pirate copys of his iraq shows were shooting up. they use it to learn what he does to try and locate him and kill him. It would bring more press attention than killing a normal reporter. Just dreading the day the fateful day i wake up and they have succeded. Loved him in Ultimate force. Ross Kemp is on a televisual mission to prove how hard he is. I'm not sure if all those years playing Grant Mitchell have gotten to him, or whether he really does think he is a premier league hardman. Still, for such a hardman, he does get *****slapped by his wife a lot, if you read the papers.

As for Ultimate Farce, well...It is made by ITV, which should give you an idea of the level of quality we're talking about.
Louis Theroux makes better documentaries of this ilk, although he switches subject matter from one extreme to another.

Making an argument that he is trying to prove something so his actions that would otherwise be regarded as brave, aren't, is rather silly. The fact is, whether or not he wants to portray an image of a hardman, he is there doing it, successfully proving that assertion.
You make think he's a moron or makes bad documentaries, but that's something else entirely.
As for the spousal abuse, again another realm entirely. Unless, as you seem to indicate, you think a man using physical force on a woman is brave. A normal person might be inclined to think that restraint on his part is the better part of valour. |
