OpenSUSE 10.3
Not that proud, then... I haven't updated because I don't want to go through the hassle of setting everything up again. But it's the third version of OpenSUSE I've used, so I daresay I will eventually update again soon. |

Ubuntu 9.04 also and just a week ago I made it my primary (and only) operating system on my travel/business/fun/work laptop D:
I still have a monster desktop with raid and awesome crunching capabilites but I am not really interested in putting it in Linux as main os because it can play quite a few games (also because it has software raid and it never seems to want to reinstall windows :(:(:()

Ubuntu 9.04, I'm pretty fond of it. EVE runs much better in Ubuntu with Desktop Effects enabled than it does in Vista with Aero disabled. --- [Don't Think Differently, Think Critically.] |

Ah, Linux version... I readed the whole thing as it was distribution!
My current Linux version is 2.6.30-rc6 with Reiser4 patch and a small patch to make Ati fglrx work with this version.

Yes, Linux distribution. People say "Linux" for "Linux distribution" just the way you say "Linux" for "Linux kernel". So, please, say what distribution is your bug-ridden, unstable and untested version of Linux based on? -- If there is anything in your life you fear of losing, then keep your mouth shut once in a while. |

I run Ubuntu 8.04 (LTS ftw!) on both my desktop and laptop. On the desktop I dual boot with windows XP, though I haven't logged into that in ages.
I've been looking into install Yellow Dog on my PS3 for kicks to see how it runs, and am currently researching if there is a reliable and useable distro for PocketPC's (I have an old iPaq that's been sitting on the shelf for awhile, thought it might be fun to experiment with).
As for EVE, I run two clients on a dual screen setup, one at 1680x1050 (primary), the other at 1400x900 (hauler alt). |

Ubuntu 9.04 or whatever version is the most recent. I'm trying very hard to break up with Bill Gates but sadly I still have XP as a backup incase something wont run in Ubuntu.

Ubuntu 8.04, 8.10, 9.04 I have counting laptops and all 15 computers, I use 8.04 on one of my desktops, 8.10 on the other desktops, 8.10 on one laptop, 9.04 on the other laptops, 9.04 on the netbooks. I'm considering OpenSuse, will VBox it for awhile and see what I think.

If I'm not having computer issues, it's Slackware 12.x . At work it's SLES 10 or 11. |
