Ubuntu 9.04 x86_64 and Arch Linux x86_64 as Desktop. Debian 5.0 x86_64 as VPS.
I mainly use Ubuntu as Desktop, because of the great Japanese language support, but also because Autodesk Maya works great on it.

Arch Linux 32 bit. (Yes, I know, but the computer is old) ----- Why doesn't anyone ever read the forums before posting? EVE is a game of adaptation and planning. Adapt or die. |

Ubuntu 9.04 x64 on 6 desktops (3x amd64, 2x core2, 1x i7) and 1 opteron laptop, Fedora 10 32 bit on the P4 laptop. Ubuntu 8.04 on the PS3, Xebian on the xbox.
And those are just machines that get used regularly and are not mulching in the basement. I have waaaay too many computers in the house. And in summary, bigger blobs are the answer. Now what was the question? |

Ubuntu CentOS Arch
Depends on what I need to do really. I tend to keep a backtrack thumb drive handy for worst case scenarios.

My personal desktop runs OpenSuSE 11.1 (2.6.27.29-0.1-xen) My servers run CentOS 5.2 And I am a system admin for mostly RHEL 3-5 boxes.
I run duel clients on EvE under the Xen kernel with full audio on both with ingame mic audio. And compizfusion. :-P
Linux FTW!

I use Gentoo 2008.0 with vanilla kernel. And i like how Linux systems allways offer something to tweak while waiting for a good mission hehe

Wow! Quite the mix of distros around here, usually when you ask in regards to a game, half the responses are Ubuntu. =P Incidentally, that's what I run, 9.04. I'm sure I'll get a few noses turned up at that, but it's SO nice to have an OS you can install, configure, and outfit with apps in under an hour. And EVE actually runs faster under Linux on this system than it does under Windows XP!
