Any ideas yourself? Making a basic fit yourself isnt that hard.

Edited by: ZW Dewitt on 04/06/2009 22:10:33 4x AN Tachs, 3x Tractor 3x SS TC, 1x CR 2 1x Protest Rep, 3x Hardeners, 3x AN HS 2x CCC 2
--or--
4x Tach 2, 3x tractor 2x SS TC, 2x CR 2 1x Protest Rep, 3x Hardeners, 3x AN HS 2x CCC 2
Can use Tach 2 w/ 1x CR 2, but the cap only lasts a 5 minutes or so which is fine for alot of missions, but doesn't work so well on a few.

Paladins and Nightmares are the only 2 ships that can fit a full rack of Tach's without gimping the ship entirely. Take advantage of it they are Amazing. --- Its like my mom always said... "I knew I should of drowned that one." |

I'm assuming standard infrared or any standard ammo is bad also?

I love scorch on my pulse geddon for missions, the amount of time saved is well worth replacing the crystals every 10-11 missions or so. I would always use Amarr navy crystals on your Paladin btw --- Its like my mom always said... "I knew I should of drowned that one." |

Pulse work well for a few missions where everything stays nice and close (Damsel in Distress for example), but for the most part you are better off with Tachs. Multifreq at near 50km optimal(needs some tracking mods) is pretty damn nice. Being able to hit out to locking range is helpful at times as well.
Personally I switch back and forth between Tachs and Pulse depending on the mission, most of the time I'm using Tachs though.

This one works like a charm for every Level 4 mission I have used it in thus far. You can replace the EANM with another HS if you so desire:

...this doesn't even seem to be a regular case of rats fleeing the sinking ship. Seems more like the rats are on fire, the ship is on fire, and the sea is full of drunk Russians. - Jacob Etienne |

Paladin fit: Highs: 4x tachyons, tractors/salvagers Mids: cap recharger(s) / sensor booster(s) / web / tracking computer(s) [I usually go 2 / 1 / 1 / 0) Lows: 3x heat sink, 4-slot tank Rigs: some mix of CCC / nano pumps [I use one of each] swap for megapulse for a few missions (rogue drone harassment and damsel generally)
It's pretty basic stuff tbh, 4x tachs and 3 damage mods and then everything else either helps you hit more often or keeps you alive while you melt everything. |

MegaBeam will give you 5dps more then the Tachyon fit with better tracking/tank (more PG for officer rep).
Also due to 4.6K volly and not 6.9K thier is less wasted DPS when grouping guns. |
