I've had this a number of times including after the last patch, I'm running two clients and moving then both to a new system and suddenly one of then starts to get a flicker on, sometimes its the ships in the area that i can see, sometimes its any window's. (ie cargo/wallet/market ect) The only thing that i can do is to relog. is this a bug? has others seen this?

1. Try updating your drivers (video and audio) 2. Run memtest 3. Swap out your graphics card with another (borrow one, etc) and see if you still have the issue. |

On a slightly related note; Is the Flickering Stars bug a known one?. I get it occasionally and since it happens consistently (I.e Star flickers between normal and "Not there" every half a second or so) and because of this i'm having to direct the camera away from stars when it starts happening. Have tried with every possible settings configuration, including the auto-optimize settings. Cleared Cache, Updated Drivers, Rolled back a couple of drivers (Then re-updated when it didnt fix). Not sure if it happens in Fullscreen as i use windowed mode constantly (Dual moniters, two accounts). I Don't think it happens with only one account running (And if it does, its certainly less-so).
I've also uninstalled/reinstalled DirectX 9, and my OS is Vista Ultimate 64bit. 4 Gigs of Ram (Memtest up to 500% tested [5 passes] revealed no errors), an ATI 4850 w/512mb GDDR3. Intel E8400, standard clock. ___________________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

I finally updated to a radeon graphics card so I could run the game in premium graphics and now I have the same issue. drivers up to date. Only way to fix the problem in game is to change the interval setting in graphics to any other setting and hit apply. Eventually tho the same flicker will creep up again and you have to change interval again. |

I'm getting borked performance as well, specially with two clients, after the latest patch. Artefacts, fklickering, and rotten performance. Looks like CCP has messed up AGAIN...

dealt with this for ever! turn interval immediate off, turn on interval 1.
