Greetings!
I'm wondering which of the Caldari battleship would be ideal for PvE. Mainly for missions and exploring. So far I really like Rokh, because of it's high ST, AR and SH, but also because it's hybrid and thus might handle most situations better. But I've also heard missiles are the best for PvE since you can keep range and hit the enemy from a long distance, whereas the Raven seems like a better choice because of its bonus to missiles.
But I don't know? Any help is appreciated :-)
Also, this might be a bit off-topic, but as I said, I'm exploring a bit, and I found these interesting wormholes, wherein I found these "sleepers" which seem extremely dangerous, I'm wondering if they're soloable? Or do you need an entire raid to defeat them?

I'm going for the Raven, myself. Using entirely one group of weapons, all the same, seems to work the best.

A little hovering outside of any Caldari mission station should give you the answer: the Raven and its variants are the mission runner's usual ship of choice when it comes to battleships. Beware of assuming that battleships are your best choice, however.

Fair enough, and thanks!
So the Rokh and Scorpion is more for PvP and the likes?
As you said, battleships may not be the best choice for exploring and mission running. What might then be a better choice? Considering it's nothing I need to train months for to get.

The Rokh makes a passable mission boat, and is a good choice for a buffer tanker to fight sleepers in W-Space, but the Scorpion is only really useful in PVP.
As for the second point, it depends, if you are running level 4s then a BS is the easiest choice, though some people with the skills for them prefer HACs (Ishtar in particular) or Command Ships (Nighthawk). For level 3 missions and lower you'd probably want to stick with a Drake, it's got a rediculous passive tank and the heavy missiles hit the smaller targets easier. For exploration in High/Lowsec you'll rarely need more than a well set up Caracal, though a drake might be preferable as long as you don't run into any acceleration gates with size restrictions. _________________________________________________________

1. (Already answered) Raven for PvE, Scorpion for PvP (it's a very niched ship; often primary and be prepared to lose it), Rokh is a bit of both it's a gunboat as opposed to the other two (well the Scorp primarily is neither, but uses missiles), and you can mine in it if you are so inclined.
2. W-holes class 1-2 are soloable, class 3 may be depending on your ship. |

From drake to raven to navy raven to golem.

Just a warning, I don't know your skills but just getting the skills for the battleship and modules you want to put on it aren't enough to make you great at it.

turrets can be very good for missions, see the paladin/nightmare, but rail guns just kinda lack damage, especially on the rohk with no damage bonus. also combining shield tank and hybrids is hell on the cap.
for pve missiles are just awesome.

Thanks for assistance! Very appreciated.
I decided to go for the Drake, as it might be a better choice for me as I'm still pretty new. I'm going for the recommendations for the Drake, and hopefully they should help me pilot the Drake with experience.
One last thing though, how do I know which class a wormhole is? All I've experienced so far with wormholes are that they have some sort of number, like K-712 etc., I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. How do I know the difficulty of a wormhole when I find it?

There used to be a comprehensive list but CCP removed it from the data dumps provided to players and shuffled them around so the only real way to be certain of the WH's level is to fly around to a few sites. ***************

PvE and Wormholes are two entirely different beasts, so you'd be sorry to fly into a WH with your PvE fitting thinking it's the same as running a mission or ratting. WH rats are a lot more like PvP/pirates than they are like PvE, so act accordingly. |

I hear Noix your type is very popular at this place -> www.worldofwarcraft.com I would suggest you to go there, but I'm pretty sure you already know that place very well.
And to the rest of you, thank you a lot for the help! :)
