Cummon ccp the lottery isnt working . Yes I can see the logic to restricting bpos but what if the peeps are bored and dont do anything with them???.. if t2 is not available to all ( yes make it bloody expensive - use copies and not originals) but how many t2 components are made regularly ( eg 20 mil for a covert ops ship yet its 80 mil for the cloaking device????????)
you have proved the lottery isnt working so release what was promised in CASTOR before you start with Shiva.
there again maybe thats why im leaving - too many broken promises . and an absolue calamity of an idea for releasing tech 2 compnents!

gotta agree in principle
Castor promises havnt been fulfilled
yet shiva is on full blown activation in november ( wasnt it supposed to be march??)
So ccp havnt completed the castor promises and yet shiva is being released 6 months (minimum) late?
so is the shiva udate just gonna be a castor patch? I wonder.
wtf sick and tired of waiting for the "Good Stuff" to come along. 13 months of payment - new content delivered ( screw the promises) in that time rating 3/10- poor showing.
Maybe , just maybe you sould have just delivered on what was promised. and stopped adding to the "promise list"

if eve bores you, then you should leave and find something that better suits you. as for your critisisms(sp), mabey the dev team should just keep us in the dark, never telling us anything, and then releasing it through the news. then people wouldent have skills pre-trained for something that has no release date, and complain when something dosent happen when they want it too. yes its been 9 mos since castor, and there are some areas that are stagnated. it happens, but theres still plenty to do. just be greatful you can play. there are many of us who want to, but are uable to.

Yet another thread... You will get no response from CCP here.. Is there a reason for this? CCPs silence seems to be an answer that things will stay the way they are. It's no surprise to me I am my own worse enemy. 0.o It's not you... no wait it is you. |

completely disagree, this system is perfect for eve macro economy, preventing it from breaking like the T1 market did. T2 modules should be expensive, should be rare, and shouldnt be availible to anyone who thinks they should have it.

Of course youÆre going to say that because you make isk off of those expensive drops. It sucks for those players who are looking to PLAY the game. Making them hate it costing CCP subscriptions.

Short answer: Far from enough.
How tech2 have been released is in my eyes a disaster. And I agree, I'll even say give us all of the tech1 too before you give us shiva.

I think the t2 release speed is PERFECT. Think how cheap stuff that Power diag IIs would be if ALL the other t2 bps came out the same day. Think how expensive t2 components would be as noone would have time to ramp up farming of them.
Large t2 items HAVE TO WAIT FOR SHIVA because of the component bottleneck (solved in Shiva)... jesus you carebears make me sick...

Of course, everyone would like it if they got their own stash of mutliple T2 bpo's.
However, that's not gonna work.
Big corps have them because they bought them from smaller ones. Small corps have them because they got lucky in the lottery (in which 100k rp is peanuts compared to the total rp in the research area and the amount of bpo's given out).
Planes are around for a century IRL now. I don't see every small corp building them? Or what about computers. Sure, everyone got one, they're not rare. However, they are all built in Taiwan.
I hope you get my point.
Market economics ar very fragile. The T1 economics broke down becayse the stuff was so readily available, sik was worth nothing anymore before castor hit.
Right after castor hit mega prices for exmaple levelled off at 10-11k, and dropped to about 8k soon after. I'd say just for this reason castor was a success......

So the plan is to maintain the status quo, then, with common T1, rare T2, (and for the future) extremely rare T3, never seen T4, and implemented but no one will ever get one T5?
As opposed to having T2 as common as T1 by the time Shiva hits, T3 as common as T1 by Kali, and so on?

/me recalls the total and complete utter *collpase* of the entire t1 market due to bpo's being so easily avaiabe.
T1 was all but destroyed due to this. T1 has nearly 0 income profit vs actually selling off the minerals.
Make it limited. Make it hard. Don't make it aviabile to all. A market crash isn't what we, or anybody else, wants - including the player base as a whole.

Kinda interesting how there's a ton of threads on this subject all of a sudden. Anyway, from another yet another thread on this topic:

I think we might be looking at a "sticky, place all comments on this subject here" thread. Mods?
