Well that was fun.
I haven't looked at the stats yet have no doubt that -A-, UK, -A- Citizens will have spanked our arses efficiency wise - primarily because they had very good logistics and the lag meant we couldnt deliver enough DPS quickly enough to alpha targets.
In addition -A- is a well oiled machine which had obviously planned an op. We on the other hand were surprised to say the least and scrambling to react and didn't get fleets in until after jammer and JB was down. While we did eventually get lots of friendlies in the system not everyone was in the same fleet or even in 'optimal' ships...
C'est la vie - tbh was a lot of fun with both sides doing a lot of reshipping - but in the end we couldn't break the logistics and pulled out with -A- and co leaving shortly after....
I really hadn't expect so much fun on a Tuesday evening!

the only spite was directed at the lag. good fight fellas, look forward to then next.
Isn't it so wonderful, nice little fight before the storm that you are unaware of. You all are failing to see the big picture is all. Review the Sov map closely. You notice that the south is full of AAA/Kenny allies, You notice that you are not a AAA/Kenny Ally...Just take a wild guess where Kenny new home will more likely be. Their retake of Delve, Q and PB is over.
What SirMolle wants Providence? Really?
While I am quite fond of the region myself I really can't see BoB settling for the most worthless (in terms of raw resources) region in EVE. That would be a straight up admission that Goons had won...
There is a more likely possibility that -A- and co will help UK try and reclaim some space in the region as a thank you for all of Butter Dog's forum arse kissing. Who knows maybe they can rope in Star Fraction and some of CVA's other long term enemies and make it a gang bang... That's probably more likely...
But tbh with the exception of IAC (and the old Trigger led) Stain Alliance, pretty much all of Provi's neighbours have been hostile...
Hell I can remember when CVA took our first steps into 0.0 in the R3-K7K area and ****ting ourselves that Curse alliance would stomp us... We know that eventually someone will try and get round to evicting us and will deal with it when that happens...
In the meantime we shall continue on our Holy Amarrian mission to make Providence the most populated and well developed 0.0 region in EVE. A place which Amarrians and 0.0 noobs can call home!

Originally by: kenna holcolm LOLS i didnt know cva had space, i thought they were just there to be shot at. :P. seriously though, we just got done a couple days ago taking in 7 t1 cruisers as a suicide op, tookout a command ship, and only lost 2 cruisers to thier 20+ man fleet. FYI most of the guys in the fleet were noobs. no excuse CVA no excuse. i plan on having much much more fun in your space soon enough.
Big words from an alliance which has so far killed the magnificent total of one CVA ship in action whilst losing six of their own.
Of course the Command Ship pilot will be whipped and ejected from the alliance for his disgraceful fail which has brought shame and CAOD mocking onto our alliance...
Please dont raid us with your tech 1 cruiser gang again as we simply can't cope and will have to flee back to Empire!
Thanks... |
