So like many i have been following this high sec Jihad, even taking part myself. My question to CCP is what is your responce?
High Sec mining drops by half T1 Modules/Ships price has skyrocketed Ore Prices have bascially not gone anywhere Empire systems are becoming empty in some areas
Are you going to buff missions? To compensate for the high isk to buy a ship/fit it Are you going to buff insurance? Are you going to re-buff Incursions? Are you going to buff wormholes? Are you going to buff null sec?
How long will you allow Goons to destroy eve? There intent is public, they are trying very hard to take down EvE Online.
My question is a serious one, what will you do when you drop below 50k subs because people have had enough? I have ben playing for 4 years and i litrally have nearly had enough of prices rising non stop on all modules, items etc
So when do you step in? When do you step in an say to Goons *that's enough*
Surley you are loosing money here. If people unsub and alot of people have, do u just let eve run into thr ground or is that your plan?
I think these are some serious questions that need to be answered. It's seems to the common player base that live n work in empire and yes we do pvp before the idiots call us carebears, but, when is enough, enough? Or do u seriously not give a damn? |

Every time some cry baby makes a post they reward the behavior and cause it to continue.
The only reason any of this goes on is because of a desire for attention, "getting tears" is some odd "look at me mommy" thing, and each time you cry you encourage them the same as any other child.

Not sure if troll, or serious. If serious, this is a pretty bad thread and my response would be: why don't you wait a few weeks when the minerals will flow more freely?
If troll, very well done. A lot of what you have written doesn't hold up to scrutiny, but it's written as if you legitimately believe it. |

ganker tears, this is funny as hell. BTW, why would ccp care... the higher stuff costs the more people buy plex, and there's really no difference in amount online this hasnt really changed in years tbh |

Ore prices have gone up lots. Can you say 7 isk per trit?
Expensive ships is win win. Industrials get more to make it profitable, pvp becomes more about smaller/cheap ships so the entry bar is lower.
More expensive ships I say, stabber fleets unite. |

No, but excess of the sandbox bully in general does limit eve by driving away potentially new customer base. Customers mean money, and money hopefully means more development. Hulkageddons and Burn Jita is cool and fine. But when, like this current hulkageddon, is done to the point and duration that it drives new players out of the game? Yeah, ruins it for everybody, even the goons because now ccp has less money to develop and fix features. |

Did they nerf missions when ship prices fell? Malcanis' Law: Any proposal justified on the basis that "it will benefit new players" is invariably to the greater advantage of older, richer players.

Dunno, could be many, could only be a few. My statement was only based on the following.
1. Two RL friends started up before the last hulkageddon. They wanted to try the industrial part. Tried everything they could do, but low sp meant no fancy ships, and were limited. I gave info and helped how I could to make them minimal gank targets, still happened. The PvE side for them was boring. The PvP they didn't want to get into again. After couple weeks, thought was stupid they couldn't run industry in the high security and quit playing, never to return.
2. It took my friends a fair bit of convincing to try eve out, because hulkageddon is a reputation of eve's playstyle. Currently Eve's reputation isn't that it is a harsh game, but that it is a game not friendly to new players. People don't start because they hear that rookies get griefed, so they play games where they can get a start as a new player. Check out most forums that discuss eve. That is the reputation. Statements to the otherwise are usually from eve players like myself trying to say it is different.
Those are two facts, based on personal experience with other ex players or people who don't want to try. So yeah, hulkageddons etc do bring that harshness to eve. But when it is taken to the extreme that it is considered by the non eve players to be the norm, and not an event, well that only drives players out or keeps new ones from starting. It is what it is. |

The question should be: "What does CCP think when there is a significant amount of their paying customers that do not log in the game because of the current situation". Because it feels like there is less people connecting to the game these days (I might be wrong on that impression of mine here so feel free to correct me here).
Anyways, in the company I work for, there would be serious discussions in upper management if the same issue would be happening. Heads would surely be rolling. |

Usage numbers certainly look down to me. OP should unsub, like I did with my 4 accounts. This one is the last and it ends next week. Feels good. I have all this time to do things. I keep posting mostly for the annoyance factor, and since I paid for the subscription through next week. Might as well get some amusement for my money.
Free market? Not so much, really. A real free market includes the ability of the market to influence conditions like the laws and regulations. Floods of isk entering the game through plex means the market is not really free. In a free market the scarcity of minerals would lead to action against the factors that limit the market. Laws and action against ganking, for one.

I'm assuming that would be after the facts are ascertained and analyzed, unlike any of the speculation in this thread.
The last information we have seen is that subscriptions continue to increase steadily on an annual basis.
To the poster that had a couple of friends try EVE and quit, this has happened to me as well... in nearly every game I like and have recommended to someone. This is not unique to EVE, people have different tastes. Hulkageddon has little, if anything to do with it. New players are not even the main target of Hulkaggedon.
If they had been careless, gotten blown up by rats or can flipped, and quit saying it was stupid to not be able to freely do industry in High Sec I must assume you would be participating in a thread dedicated to the evils of can flippers and NPC spawns in general. When I check troll in the dictionary, it has a photo shopped picture of you standing somewhere in the vicinity of a point.

Plex doesn't generate isk, it generates 30 days of play time. You can sell it to somebody who earned isk through mission running, mining, industry, or scamming (from those who mission run, mine, or do industry), all of which are isk generating resources. The isk that you receive from said player is removed from their wallet so no new isk is generated. |

So more laws and restrictions = a free market.
Gotcha.
Learn what a free market is, then perhaps learn what a sandbox game is, then come back and tell us how you and your 4 accounts are at a disadvantage to all the other players using the exact same toolset that is at your disposal. No matter the claims, the United States does not operate under a free market; there is plenty of regulation and governmental control to go around. EVE has no barrier for entry into the marketplace.
