Edited by: isdisco3 on 17/06/2009 01:17:45 Process at present:
1. highlight entire contents of hangar 2. hit 'repackage' 3. get the 'cannot repackage as item is damaged' error 4. then re-highlight your entire hangar 5. then click 'repair' 6. then click 'repair all' 7. then agree to pay the pitifully small amount of isk to repair 8. then go back to your hangar 9. highlight all items 10. and click 'repackage.'
Proposed process:
1. highlight entire hangar. 2. click 'repair and repackage' 3. dance.
Its just a bad, bad, bad process at present, and it should be incredibly easy to fix. |

I really can't support this. What happens if you have a can full of stuff (blueprints, fittings, etc)? You really don't want to see the effects of this.
While I agree that the repackage/repair system is pretty hideous, you could easily skip the first step and repair first, then repackage. Normally, there's very little to repair (except perhaps drones or modules damaged when you went into hull). |

Even if the popup was "This item cannot be repackaged because it is damaged. It will cost 1234 isk to repair. (Pay) (Don't Pay) (Cancel Repackaging)", it'd be a huge improvement. Something like this, yes.

NO! This is totally game breaking! This is like making capital weapons able to hit orbiting shuttles. Ok, not really.

Should be implemented like this.
