That is probably the best thing I have seen on General discussion.
I just wish I had the clear raw talent you have to construct it myself, but alas I am useless with art work. |

Since the entire model is hollow and made from card stock the weight is probably a pound or so. It's quite light. |

how thick is the paper you used? here in Europe we mostly measure it in grams per something, where your average printing paper is 80 grams per something. at a local shop they sell them up to 250 grams per something, and those are pretty thick.
so have you any ideas how thick is the paper you used?

In America it is all pounds. I use anywhere between 65 lbs and 100 lbs card stock.

How does the US system work?
For those that use metric it is grams per square meter.
A good stock for a papercraft project would be 170 to 220 gsm, I wouldnt recommend going higher as it gets difficult to get good creases in the more fiddly pieces.
For the smaller craft you could probably get away with using something as light as 120gsm.

Edited by: Nathanael Ashcroft on 28/09/2009 09:45:07 Wonderful ! How much time did you spent to assemble this one ? (and how much for the preliminary work ?)
I'll begin to assemble your Vexor model as soon as I find the printer it deserves !
Moreover, do you think a 200g/m2 paper is good enough for that ? ---
