OK, cancle my search for the patch, after reading few first posts in this thread of "file not found" seen a patern in the patch name, so I tried my luck by changing the destination file name of the patch, and it worked

thats the current 1.3.0 -> 1.3.1 incremental patch now back to bug catching p.p.s sorry if my posts are sometimes double or triple, thats the echo created in the proxy server, the evil admin said he'll fix it someday. cheers

My computer would not download the patch, and I like you, couldn't find the actual correct manual patch. But now, with your valued assistance, I am now playing again! \o/
I wonder why this patch was treated with such seeming sloppiness that it couldn't even get it's own forum thread... Or why a devoted player had to do the work of those paid to head off these kinds of problems.

Anyone else having issues pulling up contracts from the journal? I have several auctions I'm bidding on that I can't see now. (Will bug report in a bit. Only had a few minutes to log in to the game and get anything done.)

I auto-patched EVE and played perfectly fine. Even had to restart EVE once and it still worked.
Then I logged and played fallout 3 for a while.
Then I went back to play EVE. The splash screen came up and with it a message box popped up saying "Start.ini could not be found, (there was another .ini that wasn't found but i can't recall which) re-installing this application may fix it"
I tried again, same result. i restarted the computer and it didn't fix it.
so, i uninstalled EVE, and downloaded the installer. I waited a while but it never started the download part of the installation, so i cancelled and tried to download manually.
After a long download i started the installation.
I got the the verifying files part when it brought me to a thing saying "Archive extraction failed: extraction error" and then below that a link saying "try the manual installation"
So, what do i do now?
(i don't think this is really a post patch issue but weatherman locked my thread and told me to post here) ------------------------------------- My other alt is a Ferrari

Regarding the T3 changes.
I ran 24 total Reverse Engineering runs. 21 were Malfunctioning relics of all 6 types. 3 were Wrecked Hulls.
Out of the successes that I got from the Malfunctioning Relics, all were 10-run prints except Thruster's. I got a 3-run and an 8-run print.
Is this expected? or should I file a BR?

Active hardeners apply both of their bonuses once activated. For example tech 2 hardener which used to give 55% resist bonus when active and 12% (with compensation skill at lvl 4) when inactive before Apocrypha 1.3 now gives both of this bonuses when active.
It may be an intended change but there is nothing about it in the patch notes.

That was not patch error said you :D If that was not a patch error, why need another patch today ? 1.3 patch was a horrible fix, you guys made minimum 20 other bugs with the patch.

We have verified that you are still getting the skill training bonus, and all seems to be in order.
If your client does not indicate this, please fill out a bug report and attach a screenshot of the skill tab of the character sheet showing that there is no indicator that the bonus is applied. That way we can investigate whether this is a graphical anomaly.

Since this new patch i've been having nothing but problems, Received and email like 2 days ago from ccp with a 5 day offer to play. So i figured i get on the game and maybe get enough money for a plex, The patch was installed yesterday, it downloads the patch, and when it's time to install it guess what you cant. The BITS service is disabled. Please use manual download.
Well i would if you guys would bother to actually post the new patches in the patch download box instead of saying that the last patch version is the latest...
i'm sick and tired also not gonna make the deadline, couse i have to download the full client every single time. and reinstall make the settings again...
It's nice to want to play the game for about 5 months and then get screwed like this.

Well after d/l'ing the latest patch it seems the graphics issue that is affecting Nvidia users hasn't been fixed. I know it isn't my systm because nothing has been changed since the last time EVE was played on it other than the EVE client being patched.
Basically whats happening is everything is flashing on and off, excpet for the station services buttons & the neocom button they are showing up as they should. The ship and the background <inside station> all flashes so one moment you can see them the next it's all very dark & blank <black>.
I am hoping this as well as the other issues are going to be fixed soon as it is a bit much o ask people to pay for a game they can no longer play due to issues that have come from a total lack of testing of a patch that has broken just about everything in the game that people actually use.

The above shows what it looks like when it is dark, when it flashes back to the correct brightness for a couple of seconds the ships can be seen but there is a moving blackish triangle that is rotating around over it or near it.

Your logic works because it's circular? We patched today since we were fixing other issues than the hardware failure of one of the market blades. Please look for the Post Patch Changes in the release notes.

Ok im a little annoyed here. Now since this update this morning we have lost all our signals including our PERMA-HOLE.. the hole that is always leading next door. Was this intended? Now there is only one signal and its a null hole that was here before the patch. And I had friends in the hole next door when DT happened and the hole was stable and the patch was going to take 2 hours and the hole should still be here and if not (which shouldnt be) there should be another E175 Hole here. WTH!!!!

REVERSE ENGINEERING:
I did 5 reverse engineering jobs on Intact Hull Sections last night and had 3 successes producing 3 x 10 run Hull BPCs.
I did 4 reverse engineering jobs on Malfunctioning Hull sections today and had 3 successes producing 3 x 10 run Hull BPCs.
I did RE jobs on Intact weapon subsroutines and got 20 run BPCs.
I thought the Intact hulls were going to produce 20 run BPCs.
Is this a bug or did you decide to do more randomness into Reverse Engineering?

I'm not sure I follow your reasoning but there were temporary market hiccups yesterday when a blade in the cluster that hosts a part of the market nodes powered down for yet unknown reasons.

I patched 2 days ago and have been unable to log in since. I have scanned all the pages of this forum but have not seen my exact problem. When loading the game I get the title screen then this error:
Verification Failure
There are extra files in your EVE client installation. If you've recently applied a patch you may need to restart your computer.

I have restarted multiple times, removed the two named files and restarted 2x and then put them back to no effect. I have a crappy connection and am only able to connect for brief periods atm so a total reinstall is all but impossible. Anyone know a way to fix this without a total overhaul? I am using Windows XP btw in case it matters. Thanks in advance.

After about 7 weeks of hassle trying to get my computer fixed. I've finally gotten an EVE worthy computer back online.
Unfortunately, when I tried to run EVE (to update) I got the splash screen, then nothing. The process tree had the exefile.txt listed, but the client would not launch. Incidentally, when the shortcut is selected a second time, a second exefile.txt appears, but no other change.
I uninstalled the old(er) version and just downloaded and installed the client over the past few hours and I am getting the exact same result.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

CARGO HOLD space changes when a ship is active or inactive with cargo extenders on it. I have an Iteron III that has 3 tech II cargo extenders o it. If i make another ship active and then open the cargo hold of the iteron, it shows it is the size it would be without extenders. However, if you had cargo in the iteron that exceeded your regular space and you open up the cargo bay it shows full and you cannot put more in it until you make the ship active again. IE: (rounded numbers) 11,000m with extenders 7,000m cargo 5,000m without extenders make ship inactive, it shows the 5,000m size and will not let you add to it as it says it is full.

for me, it's the update from Patch 89883 to 93706 that's causing problems. one hour after auto-updating, my game crashes after logging in for around 5 minutes, every single time. below is the message i got after it crashed. i'm using windows vista.

This error indicated an issue with your DEP settings. Check it to make sure it's only on for critical processes, or add ExeFile.exe to the list of exceptions.

Well This patch today has again caused my client to be corrupt, ever since the Apoph expansion new patches have caused my client to be corrupt so ive always had to extract and install version 84244 then manually install the latest patch, not this time however becuase it is now causing older client install exe's to become corrupt. Cant believe im having to spend hours again just to get the game working.

I have extremely annoying problem.
My Dominix has 5x 350MM railguns fitted. I have them in group and when I try to shot something it only fires one round of ammo.
After that the animation keeps going (as if I am firing) but rounds are not actually fired.
Also I cannot cancel the shooting, nor reload the weapons. The guns are basically "stuck".
The only thing that unstucks the turrets is to warp away.
Tried to reset the client but it didn't help.

I was dual boxing and both of my characters experienced the jump bug from a couple patches ago (in different systems), the one where the new system never really loads.
So I logged out and back in, but the character selection "Entering Game As ____" bar reaches completion then freezes.
This is quite inconvenient.
