I want to explore wormholes. I have done it before and its fun but it can get boring in a buzzard. How do scorpions hold up against sleepers? I know there are different levels of different worms and they affect you differently, but how does it hold up overall?

Solo you would be in a capsule in a Class 5-6 Class 4 you maybe survive with good skills/Equip. Class 3 you should be fine. Class 1-2 dont forget to fit a probe launcher :-)

You're talking about variables. A magnetar system would make your Scorpion much more effective, as it gives a large boost to ECM. However, in any level of wormhole, jamming ships get primaried the moment they activate ECM; this makes the low tanking ability of the scorpion an extreme liability in classes 5-6, and possibly class 4.
It's ability to jam Sleepers is, nonetheless, not to be overlooked. It can reduce dps to the entire fleet if you manage to keep it alive through shield transfer or RR.
Given that information, you be the judge of your own situation. -CEO of AC-AF- |

Scorpion is great in w-space. The extreme range of siege missiles means you can take out the Sirius turrets while jamming the battleship attacking your friends over here in the "safe from the turrets" zone.
It has ECM, long range weaponry (and the targetting range to use them), drones, and a battleship sized tank.
What's not to like?
I'm not sure you'd get it into a class 1 due to wormhole mass restrictions though - I was under the impression that they're limited to cruiser-class or smaller (eg: retrievers yes, hulks no. Hoarder yes, Mammoth no).

You only provide a screen shot of your catalyst amongst a bunch of wrecks.
What killed them? The sleepers or your bigger battleship fleet? Or were those wrecks just what was left when the fight was over and you're busy salvaging while the rest of their fleet is away picking up salvage boats?
There is a severe dearth of information in your gloating.

the sleepers :) they didnt even survive wave 1 according to the look (probed the sites after dt and noticed later there was some activity in the system and the wrecks on overview, so i warped to each bookmark and hoped it was the magno or radar site, and yep it was the magno.
i didnt kill them ^^
(and to clarify, after they got killed and they warped their pods out, the site naturally despawned because one of the guys started to open cans (according to the 2 t3 salvage items i found in the wreck) :)
hey everyone loves free stuff ^^

Like I said, your tank is a liability because you're relying on ECM. I would've thought you would be relying on shield transfer the same way I rely on RR in my ops, which is why I figured it'd start to give you trouble in a class 4. You'll have trouble in ANY class of w-space if your ship is paper-thin and relies on ECM. -CEO of AC-AF- |

Ashmira's thread that was posted was a good one. Lots of good setup info in there. I wouldn't necessarly try and solo anything more than a level 3 (and maybe even then no higher than a 2) but they're great support ships in large gangs. Just make sure you have a plate (or two or three) in your low slots for some bit of a buffer tank. RR is a must.

what about a raven then? How have people done with a raven or rokh in WH space? And if anyone has any fits for wormholes, please post them.

the sleepers :)
Ah, so they probably messed up a trigger?
I've had a lot of fun tanking stuff with my Scorpion, it's active + ECM tank, but we never have to face more than two hostile battleships. The sleepers will target ECM, but they seem to prefer shooting someone who's actually shooting them over someone who is using ECM elsewhere.

well with only 2-3 ships we have a lot of fun and good teamwork (no ecm) and sometiems we shoot triggers on purpose to get a higher number of sleeper Ships for the Thrill (it also "protects" us from pirates, feel free to warp in and get slaughtered ehehehe) :P
i dont think they triggered, they seem to be too fast, went prolly straight for first can while battling and dying seeing the low amount of wrecks i would say it was first wave.
But i had to hurry up, one helios Guy was scavenging the sleepers for the tags when i was in catalyst. Brought "home" the first load and grabbed a diff ship to battle the expected hostiles. Managed to scare that helios guy far enough away so i could loot about 3/4 of the stuff lying around :) (he got one of the battleship wrecks though, but i got so much "free" t2 stuff already, i dont care :>)

Hehe reminds me of one time i just warped into a gravimetric to check out the roids where a Hulk scrambled out as soon as i targeted him... i found myself a nice collection of T2 drones for free lols :)
Anyway, as someone earlier posted, im interrested in some good Raven setups as well as i finally put off the resist to learn Battleships and cruisemissiles so i can use em now

fit for "pvp", omni resists and such :) has the nice sideeffect that you also be somewhat prepared against pirates (there are still some pirates out there who uh... are suboptimal fitted for the specific task at hand :P)

personally i think the class 1 holes should be 100m max mass or even 150m. They should be doable by a bs u still cant get cap ships thro
Pain when u go into one in a domi and cant get out of it. Or have a link to c2 always out of c1. As well as empire. Just my pet hate
