1.) Is it standard company policy to not inform your ban victims that they are banned?
2.) Is it standard to not inform them why they are banned? Nor for how long?
3.) Is it standard to leave their petitions unanswered for weeks at a time?
CCP, you like to preach quality, innovation, communication, etc, but you really drop the ball when it comes to your customer service. Not only do you not dignify your customers with basic information related to bans, you don't even tell them. And then you ignore their petitions rather than answer these simple questions. Why do your petitions take weeks to get a response to? It is not unreasonable to expect these kinds of account management questions answered within 2 weeks.

You are right, but then their resources are stretched very thin lately so I don't know...
It is a really unfortunate situation anyway you look at it, but I am certain they did not willingly let the petition system get this backed up.
Hopefully they figure out a way to play catch up, because two days is unreasonable, let alone two weeks, when it comes to account bans. ...clearly the Ishukone Watch Scorpion is the fifth horseman of the Apocalypse, i.e. the Brown Rider, otherwise known as Poopie. |

GM Homonoia has been writing a lot about petitions in this thread and you may find some useful information there.
The forum rules also specifically state:
# Warnings and bans are not to be discussed on the forum.
Such matters shall remain private between the CCP and the user. Questions or comments concerning warnings and bans will be conveyed through e-mail or private messaging. Likewise, discussions regarding moderator actions are not permitted on the forum. If you have questions regarding a post or thread, please file a petition.
This also extends to in game bans and you should always keep these discussions within an active petition.
For this reason, the thread will be locked.
