Good evening, could anyone tell me what is the best amarr bs to ratt on angels? Apocalypse, abaddon or armageddon?
And it would be great if you give me fit for the kind of bs.

Thousand island, definately.
Ontopic: Geddon (allthough angels are probably the only npcs where i wouldnt rat with amarr ships).

Blood Raiders, Sansha, and Drones all have a weakness to Amarr's primary damage type (LAZORS) --- It's like my mom always said... "I knew I should of drowned that one." |

If you want to use an Amarr battleship to kill angels then the Armageddon is the one you want.
It has enough gun firepower to punch through the resistances and can carry lots of drones (use explosive damage drones).
Use armour hardeners against kinetic and explosive and you are good to go. Just beware, Angel space probably has the largest per capita ratio of pirates in the Eve cluster.

Your best option really is to train amarr cruiser 5 and use a sac. Also train HAM spec. You will have excellent resists to the angel damage and will be able to deal pure explo damage on them. Plus the ship is a whole lot more nibble in warping to ss or pos if hostiles pop up in local.
Geddon with pulses and heavy explo drones will do I suppose until you get the sac. Alternately, an apoc with 6 pulses, 2 siege or cruise launchers with explo missiles, and medium explo drones may bridge you to the sac.

Just curious, how would you fit the thing? With my mediocre skills (missile dmg related @ 4, HAC 4), t1 ammo and 3 BCU IIs, 3 Warrior IIs, and even a heavy pulse laser II to boot I get an underwhelming 425 DPS. Max skills throws in another 60 or so. Faction missiles aren't practical due to availability. It's been a bit since I've checked rat resists, but I do believe that angels soak up exactly twice as much EM damage as they do explosive. So even for him to train for a sac and HAM IIs and sit at mediocre skills like me, he'd only have to apply 850 DPS of a geddon. With a tracking enhancer and computer and decent skills, you should be able to surpass the damage of a sac. I realize tracking comes in to play as well as speed and agility, but the real difference between the two seems rather moot.
Granted I've never actually flown a sac, but I have flown a full gank abaddon versus angels with explosive drones and it didnt seem to fare too badly.

Astro, I don't EFT so I don't know if I can answer you. I have HAM spec 4, HAC 4, warrior IIs and with a web (and painter sometimes for the frigs if you want to kill them) and ab and two bcu the sac does fine against angel BSs. Not amazing fast, but tank is not a worry.
Eveinfo lists the Angel BS em resists in the mid 70s while the explo resists are in the low 40s. My experience is simply that shooting em at Angels in belts or in missions is a joke, even when it is a lot of it. Now the geddon was great for ratting rogue drones, but then so was a phoon.
Anyway, being nimble has its other benefits for ratting as I said.

I'd go with a Geddon for the Zerkers (higher pct dmg comes from drones and thus is the right damage type). Also, the Geddon has good overall damage for the Amarr lineup.

I'm with LiliLu on this one (hi Lili!) - use the Sac. My Sac fit for anti-Angels work is below:
[Sacrilege, M's Sacrilege copy 2] Ballistic Control System II Ballistic Control System II Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II Damage Control II Medium Armor Repairer II
10MN MicroWarpdrive II Fleeting Propulsion Inhibitor I Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II
Heavy Assault Missile Launcher II, Fulmination Assault Missile Heavy Assault Missile Launcher II, Fulmination Assault Missile Heavy Assault Missile Launcher II, Fulmination Assault Missile Heavy Assault Missile Launcher II, Fulmination Assault Missile Heavy Assault Missile Launcher II, Fulmination Assault Missile Small Tractor Beam I
Hydraulic Bay Thrusters I Rocket Fuel Cache Partition I
Warrior II x3
It does the job, and it is nimble enough to survive in a hostile environment.
...this doesn't even seem to be a regular case of rats fleeing the sinking ship. Seems more like the rats are on fire, the ship is on fire, and the sea is full of drunk Russians. - Jacob Etienne |

HAMlegion is actually the best amarr ratting ship vs angels, but then thats ******ed in a way thats similar to fitting a CNR with officer gear in order to make an extra 1m/hour.

Back when Amarr sucked is wasn't uncommon for amarr BS pilots to fit projectiles on their ships. Unless you plan on ratting angel space long-term it's still not the worst way to go. I'd try an apoc with explosive drones, and projectiles/missiles in highs. But that's just me... |
