Some Characters stay in the corp/local/etc chat after logging out. As from my watchlist they are offline but still on the channels with a red dot. My alt is in the chat too - logout was 6 hrs ago.
cache clear / restart and all that default things do not help here :s |

I REALLY dis-like the inventory everything is constantly resizing on my screen to the point where I cant even play the game, hangers on capitals are a nightmare to access and I cant fit this new cargo window any where on my screen as it hides what I need to have open with all the crap I am accessing. All in all this is the most inconvenient bunk piece of s--- you have produced and I cant believe you decided to work on this over actual game changers like Security status updates and Ship lines. Disappointment dose not even begin to cover what I feel about Inferno. You should honestly consider taking this OUT until you make some serious improvements to it. |

I'm gonna be as constructive as possible here.
Inventory changes are without a doubt a step in the wrong direction. Let me just go into why for a moment.
You take a core thing like your station hangar and poof it - what's gonna happen? No matter how good the changes to the inventory system might be (and after playing around with them, I'm not convinced they are), you'll have people come in and go "hey...how many clicks do I have to go through to get to the same functionality as pressing one icon? And this happened why? rabble rabble rabble"
Don't get me wrong, there were improvements to inventory that needed to be made and there are some genuine improvements in this patch. But the section of the unified inventory that doesn't allow for a station hangar to be viewed from the sidebar needs to be changed to allow the traditional station view along with these changes.
Please listen to your testers on sisi ffs. |

The formula should be insurance value off ship at max - cost of insurance. Because there is absolutely no ship in the game that sells for less then max insurance less cost of max insurance. I don't think there are many that realistically sell for less then max insurance either, since insurance has lagged behind ship prices badly.

Having gone back through the thread and reading the threadnaught I do have one thing to say,
CCP soundwave, EAT A **** I have tried to make use of the unified inventory by the shift/click which is a great idea however these windows wont stay even after they have been pinned and your base window with everything listed (the same one I don't want to use because it is a nightmare to navigate) opens every time I dock and re-sizes both my "station-external" and "station-internal" windows alternatively. I don't need a tree to navigate the 3 old windows that most people use 90% of the time "Ships" "Items" "Cargo" if you need to access other windows simply pull them up when needed.
You guys had already fixed the big issues with the old system IE having all windows stay open on dock and undock, so why as soon as you fix something would you try and re-invent the wheel, its just a waste of time. |

The Inventory is TOO Unified.
If you open up any kind of inventory window in a POS, it queries all the POS modules with storage within at least 30 km, even though it won't let you access anything past 3km. This causes inventory lag EVERY time you enter a POS on the order of 30 seconds. Secondly, multiple ship maintenance arrays and corporate hangar arrays are nearly indistinguishable in the new inventory, since they don't have unique names. |

The new UI (based on my own and 2 newish players) Its taken a simple system and made it more complex . it reminds me also of the huge amount of clicking we had to do in PI when it first went live .
I would like the option to revert back to the old UI as there was nothing wrong with the look and feel of it .
Failing that at least remember which windows i have open and re-open them everytime i dock or undock etc .
This is one change that has made me reconsider my subscription due to the backwards feel to the change . It is far too much like work having to re-open all the windows i like having open when i'm docked . |

Expected behavior: The cargo hold fits the same number of items as before. Observed behavior: Error: the cargo bay is overloaded...only capable of fitting 5512.5 units
That amount is exactly 5% more than show info capacity, but the ship requires Caldari Industrial III to fly, so the minimum capacity with skills even without expander modules should be 5250*1.15
It's not the capacity of the ship without a pilot as that is just 5250. It's less than the ship plus skills or the ship plus modules.
Dragging the second stack into the station into the cargohold without dragging it on top of the existing stack works as expected. The cargohold holds all the items from before. |

Dropping onto tabs doesn't work as it used to: I shift-click two containers to get them in separate windows (Orca cargo hold and ore hold). I drop one of the new windows onto the other so they are now tabbed in a single window. I click the cargo hold tab to have it the "active tab".
I used to be able to drag items from wherever and drop directly onto the tab of the "hidden" ore hold in the tabbed window (moving from cargo/corp hangar to ore hold). Now dropping onto any tab doesn't move the items. |

Corporate hangars don't appear on the tree if you already have an inventory window opened. You have to close it and open again.
Regarding POS: I wanted to keep my ship cargohold and open a new window with the tree of the starbase containers, but I could not figure out how, only way is to actually close, open new inventory, move the window and enlarge it, expand the tree, then shift click to get back your cargo hold on a separate window, that you also have to move, resize and collapse the second tree. I admit however that once this tedious setup is done, the POS maintenance seems a bit easier, as you don't have to approch each container to open them ... but I would have much appreciated the possibility to split open an inventory window without all this workaround.
EDIT/ If you have multiple windows opened (tested with 2: POS + Cargo Hold), and close one of them (POS) but KEEP the other, as you jump both windows are closed, and when you open the inventory back, the collapse state, positions and sites are reset. That is really not convenient at all, specially if you have to do multiple travels between station and POS. |

The "improved" inventory view:
* It has long load times if you're in a station where your corp has a lot of blueprints, or if you are on-grid with a lot of POS structures (including gun batteries).
* It is impossible to see the left pane if you are using the Silver color scheme.
* The inability to have multiple inventory windows open at once is crippling to any attempt to move items between things.
* Fortunately the "Merge Items and Ships into Station Panel" option still works, and can be used to bypass CCP's butchery of the UI to some degree.

That issue cropped up in escalation, bug reports have been submitted, guess they haven't had time to fix it. |

"local" shows toons as present in systems, when they in fact are logged of. I know this, cause it is my alt. Same in alliance chat but not in corp chat. Have cleared cache, restarted client, clicked all the different "display delayed" and "display immidiate" buttons. Bug? Or bad-at-playing-EVE-guy behind the pod-interface?
EDIT: Just saw that more peeps have the same problem. That probably makes it a bug, because there can't be that many bad-at-playing-EVE-guys out there. or... ;-) |

appears when i'm doing sleeeprs that when they web/un-web me my ship will alter it's orbit if i get webbed/un-webbed a few times at once my ship will do multiple turn arounds.
I don't remeber it happening before the patch but either way it is irratating me |

I actually had this problem before all the new Inventory UI updates today. Same steps as you mention, create a half stack of something, drag it to station inventory, attempt to stack it back onto same items in cargohold of ship, "that action would require xx m3... blah blah". Only way to get it to work, is to NOT try to stack the station inventory onto a pile already in cargohold. Once its in your ship, right-click (oh no, more right clicking? thats not user friendly.. :P) and stack-all.

Allright, just wrote a nice long post with some issues... in the in game browser... when i clicked post it was gone... AWESOME!!!
Now a short version:
Inventory System:
- filter (top right corner box) returns different results for the same filter string
procedure 1. type a three char string 2. add a 4th char 3. delete 4th char again
The first three chars of the configurable ship name of a subset of the ships in the ship maint here matches the three chars i put into the filter box. After step 1. the filter applies to something but i cannot figure to what it applies since a lot of ships are shown. Pre-Inferno it applied to the configurable ship name (e.g Myship or Myship2 etc..) AND the ship type name (e.g. Talos or Dominix etc..). It now shows different ships and a lot more of them. After step 3. the filter only applies to the he configurable ship name (e.g Myship or Myship2 etc..)
Please fix.
- inventory tree view
There is no point showing all the pos structures that are out of range of interaction. When i open the corp hangar and then want to switch to the ship maint hangar in the tree i have ot scroll past all the Laser Batteries which are all way out of interaction range. Please fix that.

Don't know if people seen this or reported it already, but I see phantoms in local and corp chat. If I dont have the pilots in watchlist theres no way to know if the pilot in local online or not. Hope a fix is coming for this. |

It happens most often when play the Hard Mission/ High Level Cosmic anomaly. |

I went to my main station where 99% of my ships gear mods ammo ect was located after docking all my gear ammo mods weapons ships packaged and unpackaged are gone. One hell of a job with this patch it ripped me off of all the ships i have collected for years. I did clear my cache log back in and same results no items in that station other than the ones I put in there with a alt moving some stuff from low sec to high sec. I would really love to get my gear and ships back this is a major bug in an expansion it would seem all of your testers had little to no items and never saw this bug or they gradually patched this in instead of all at once like the rest of us and never found this bug., |

I moved stuff from a cargo container in space into the corp hangar.
Now everything is empty. And yes i do not have a filter activated.
FIX THIS .... IT IS POS FUEL AND STUFF WE NEED URENTLY !!!

Last night I had lost all my chats bar 1, and local was one of those I lost. Consequently I was unable to play (who wants to try 0.0 when you can't see local chat but others can?) Today I have just lgged in and now I have my chats back, but local claims that there are 100 people here. Some of those in local I know for a fact are logged off, and have been so since last night ! Local would seem to hold 25 or so from the responses to questions, and the bug appears to be widespread. This might not be CCP's biggest ****-up to date (boot.ini, CQ, etc) but stacked alongside the totally crappy UI it sure is in the Top 5. Really CCP, just when we thought you were getting your act together you go and royally screw the whole thing up again, despite having copious amounts of feedback from SiSi on some of this !! Really makes me wonder why I'm still struggling to play at this point in time, having serious second thoughts about how I spend my time round about now. I'm very disillusioned. |
