I created a character 6 months and 7 days ago. Assuming you trained the whole time, what would be the average number of SP obtained so far? I am trying to find out if I have inadverdently lost a few weeks of training time along the way.

Slow unassisted start with little learning and low/no implants, no remaps, bad attributes for trained skills... probably around 7 mil SP, tops. Fast-tracked start with good implants, focused training remaps and stuff like that, closer to 13 mil SP or maybe even above.

Great, I am about in the middle with 9.4m so some gaps did not affect it too much.
Thank you much.

Well, I'm 1 year and 4 months old, and I've got 15.2mil SP... I figure I should get about 1m per month so I'm about on time minus a few lost days as a newb. -sig-

I like using 2,000 SP/hour. It's a nice round number, and is a decent training rate.
Some months have 31 days, lets say half:
(3 * 30 + 3 * 31 + 7) * 24 = 4,560 hours approximately
4,560 * 2,000 SP/hour = 9,120,000 SP

Ummm... you're missing some months there.
There are aprox 8,766 hours in a year (rounded up). At 2,000 SP per hour, that's 17,532,000 SP / year. Average with some lax math.

I'd say 1.5 million sp/month is a good benchmark, assuming you're training skills that use different attributes. If you spend full month on your highest attrib combo probably closer to 1.8ish mil sp/month.
