Ok, i'm trying to figure out a decent WH ship, i can only fly Gallente and we have a class 3 WH. I've been trying with drones and a domi, the tank is uber but the damage is from drones. Sometimes i get lucky and the sleepers dont bother with my little robots and i can get through a plex fine, other times they wont leave em alone!
I also tried a mega with rails but they cant hit the cruisers and frigs! Anyone got any tips or ideas for Gallente ships?

I found putting on tracking disruptors always got me primaried over my drones.
Could have been luck - but I do remember hearing that sleeper AI goes for that first.

Cross train caldari/amarr. That's what I'm going to do when I get a chance anyway.
Gallente ships are pretty terrible in wormholes, especially if you try and solo.

Stick with the sentry drone Domi, you can't really get a more versatile ship but fit a mediuum/large remote rep to repair your drones.
Sentry drone damage rigs will help with DPS. -----------------------------------------------------------

Have you ever tried this? Being in a class 3 hole with your main damage coming from drones. The only thing you'll achieve with that is the sleepers aggroing your drones. They will die too fast to use remote reps on them.
For solo / duo action I would definately use a ship which isn't drone-based for the main damage. That being said, I've been trying different ships in c3 holes. I fly gallente and amarr, so for the amarr ships: zealot/absolution/legion are far superior for this kind of thing. As for gallente ships, the deimos has trouble tanking. Ishtar, yup the drone thing again. Myrmidon: basically same as ishtar. Brutix: just too weak overall. EOS: drone trouble again. Megathron/Hype/Kronos: all have trouble hitting the close-range frigs. You might be able to try somehing with smartbombs for frigs. No idea how the sleeper frigs react to those though. Your best bet would be fiddling around with a railgun astarte imho. Or if you have enough isk a proteus. -- The future is black.

Dominix is awesome. I am actually training t2 sentries on two accounts just for wormholes.
Its rather tedious if you're solo but doable easily. In groups dominix is one of the best ships for the job no way around it. --

I've tried it for soloing class 3 wormhole radar and magnetometric sites. The Domi has a decent enough tank and the drones generally last long enough to knock down the incoming dps if you know what you're doing and you're a little bit lucky. Not sure that it's worth using T2 ogres, as they die really quickly to 6 focus firing, webifying frigates.
Not sure about sentries, not my forte. I mainly use them as a temporary damage sponge.

I would've expected the kronos to smash close range frigs with a 90% web or 2...
Personally I can do class 1 and 2s easily in a blaster ishkur, AB + low sig means you can speed tank the nasty stuff. Just recall drones as soon as the enemy targets go yellow instead of red, or you see your drones taking damage, then redeploy in a few seconds. You'll be at blaster range so it hardly takes any time.
For drone boats, in the future faction sentries may do the trick, slightly less damage but double the hp. If you have sustainable remote repping it might be quite doable. That mainly applies to the domi I suppose.

Not sure if you're clueless, a griefer or if you got some clever remote rep plan.

Many people have reported that drones are impossible in WH space, an equal number have said that they have no problem. I haven't read a thread that got to the bottom of this mystery.
I have found that just one EWAR module of any type (could be a tracking disruptor or target painter) will hold aggro without any guns fitted, but I have no experience with WH space. I usually run missions with a bunch of salvagers and tractor beams, so the wrecks get processed as soon as they pop. I love Gallente. Automate everything so you can take drugs and screw on the observation deck during the battle.
My guess is that a Myrmidon fitted with lots of guns and ewar might hold aggro better than an Ishtar, even in WH space. An Ishtar can fit 3 turrets? If you use a Dominix, make it as attention getting as possible. Some people have a lazy playstyle, just letting the drones do everything.

In my experience fitting an e-war module helped a little in wormholes, but nowhere near as much as some here have claimed. It's possible that my ewar skills sucking had something to do with that.
Using warp to 100km to get a lot of range on the sleepers helped more. The frigates would chase me down and move out of remote repair range of the cruisers.
Also, warping out of the site then back in seemed to clear drone aggro most of the time. You have to be careful that you haven't hit the site de-spawn trigger though.
