I have two accounts and when both accounts are logged in i am noticing massive lag and also when i opened up my task manager today to see if it was something in there that was causing it i noticed that i had two instances of CMD.exe and when i killed one of them one window of EVE closed. I am wondering why eve online needs a CMD window and what is going to be done about the lag
BTW running evga nvidia geforce 550ti 8gbmem 3 core 3.2ghz processor and all visuals on both account trued as low as they can go and all effects turned off |

What kind of lag? FPS lag? latency?
I'm running a 550ti as well, and I've noticed that after a while, 10-15 min, my GPU peaks to 99%-100% and my FPS drops dramatically, from 60 to 15-20
Even with just one client.

Hmmm,
So your saying you reverted, and everything appears to be okay?
I guess this is a no brainer. BRB with results.

Okay, so far so good. I'm going to open my second client and see if it takes a massive hit.
Although, I think there was something funny in the new driver package. |

I'm getting 45 FPS with both clients in windowed mode w/ capture software recording @ 30 FPS.
Seems like everything is cool so far, hopefully it stays this way.
I'll report back here if something goes wrong again, otherwise I'm pointing my finger at the new drivers.

I'm getting lag (in the form of window updates) and chop now too, and I think it's 99% related to that useless unified inventory deciding to check everything in the universe for inventory status, every time you go near the damn window. Get rid of the unified Rube Goldberg inventory, the lag will go with it. |

Quick question, as im having similar issues on my GT 540M card.. a m assive drop to about 15-20FPS at all times.. worked yesterday though, a day after i updated the drivers.. logged on today.. andbam. massive Frame drops...
And it can't be the Inventory system... cos its worked fine with that running for hours the other night.. so deffo no that.
so my question is this.. since i havent had to revert my drivers before, how do i go about doing this?
and my current version is 301.42.
Any help would be epic! |

Matt
I didn't have the 301.42 drier and I'm suffering from constant stuttering especially when shooting is taking place every since the patch.
So if it's similar to that rolling back drivers won't help |

Right click on My Computer, and go to properties. Find the Device Manager. (you can get here from control panel too) In the Device Manager find your graphics card under the 'Display adapters' In the Driver tab, you will find an option to roll back driver.
-or-
You can uninstall your driver from windows programs, and download the previous version.

I'm using the 296.10 versions. Its been over a day, and everything is cool.
Also, on the NVIDIA forums, there's people mentioning performance issues with the latest drivers.
