whats the recommended ships to run class 1, 2 and 3 wormholes?
and fittings. or can you only solo up to level 2?
whats a good proteus fit and up to what level could you solo a wh with it?

From many threads on the topic, it would appear that the Dominix or Raven is the ticket. Some people with greater skills claim a tanking Vexor will cut it in a Class 1-3 system.
The ships I don't hear good stuff about are the Hyperion and the Myrmidon. I have also seen Rokhs working alone in WH systems.

Hmm. What about HACs? I would've thought some ships such as the Zealot or Sacrilege would work. Some sites claim a passive drake will work up to Class 3.

Drake and nighthawk are ideal for it, but won't do it fast solo
Saccralige can tank atleast C2 without any issues, but naturaly dps is an issue together with the lack of highslots
Vexor can't fit a good enough tank for anything above a lvl2, and even then it's gona be hard
Sleepers love to pop drones, and you never get any warning about what drone, meaning they have a habit of instapopping them without you having a chance to recall it
This means that using domis and other drone based ships quickly get tedius and is a bit impractical
What you want is a good tank and non-drone based dps, pref with utility slots for probes, salvagers, cloaking-device for unexpected visitors etc, or an alt to fill some of those roles for you |

I expect a sentry drone boat will work well, because if you don't move you can instantly pull them in once they get aggro. All the Hobgoblin IIs I've lost in wormholes have been because of one of the following two situations:
1) There's a horde of sleeper frigates out there that all target a drone, and the missile swarm kills it before I can get it back, or
2) There aren't that many sleeper frigates, but 1-2 of them target one of my drones and web it, so it takes longer to get back to me than it can survive.
Even light drones aren't normally insta-popped by the sleepers, I just don't always have time to react once I realize they're under fire.

If I use raven for WH(class 1 TO 3), what is the set-up for mid & low slot. For high, it should be 1 salvager, 1 cloak, 1 probe & balance cruise missile lanchers.

Also, don't overlook the good passive tanked Myrmidon for class 1-3

I run all C1 to C3 wormholes in a drake with an omni tank of 764 DPS and a DPS of around 300/almost 400 with drones out (remember to get to train up Guided Missile Precision skills to atleast 4 for the frigates) and have no serious problems in here, im currently training up an alt to speed up the process, but it's not really slow when your missile skills are good to very good. (also use T2 missiles when you can, or faction), the only things that might give some problems are the frontier magneto sites in a C3, these tend to spawn an additional BS (atleast when a Derelict Talocan is present)
So , when your shield skills, heavy missile and Missile support skills are atleast good/very good, you can do it in a proper fit drake, and proper fits can be found in other threads here allready.
