Yep. I'll say it. I love the **** out of it. Decided since there was so much dislike over it, I'd show CCP that some of us actually enjoy it's utilization. |

It just takes some getting used to after using a different system for almost 6 years. But it's hardly bad (except the opening/closing on jump, that's the kind of bug that shouldn't even make it past dev Alpha, let alone singularity). |

Well, just wait until you get large amount of assets, or managing a control tower with 4 CHA for each tab for your corp members. More clicking, so much scrolling.
The new interface is GOOD for the new players or players with small assets, but once you have 20+ cans, all properly labeled, control tower management, you'll change your views.
in the beginning, I was 50-50. Now, I don't like it. |

Count the number of posters saying "I like this system". You MIGHT need both hands, but I doubt it.
Count the number of PAGES of posters saying "this new system is broken and sucks". You'll need your hands, feet, and STILL won't have enough to count us - then you get to multiply by the number of posters per page.
Looks to me like the VAST MAJORITY consider this new inventory system broken and not only are NOT "perfectly happy with it", but are more like "perfectly UNHAPPY" with it.
For those that don't have a lot of inventory to manage, and especially those that don't manage corporate inventories , the new system might be OK.
For those of us that have SERIOUS amounts of inventory management to do, it's a ROYAL PAIN PIECE OF GARBAGE THAT IS BROKEN BY CONCEPT.
I've already had several corp members tell me they will NOT be renewing, over this "yet another BROKEN concept inflicted on us DESPITE FEEDBACK FROM SISI FOLKS SAYING DON'T DO IT" incident.
CCP - which part of "we listen to our customers" do you fail to understand, this is YET ANOTHER case of you DON'T LISTEN and have NOT changed your arrogant ways that have you seeing some "vision" and refusing to realise or listen when folks tell you your "vision" is not just flawed, but TOTALLY BROKEN.

Here's an idea; instead of automatically showing distaste and requesting the old system back, why not just make the new inventory system able to have separate windows..? Click + Drag the particular selection and it becomes a new window similar to the old method. -Shrug-

I like the new inventory.
But,
I hate that every time i needed to open up my inventory it took forever to load (stupid market price loading) I hate that i can't open up multiple inventory window as fast as usual (yes i know how to split up the windows). I hate that now i need to drag stuff carefully to those tiny texts at the leftside if i want to move my stuff. I hate that it actually took more space on my screen for an improvement that was intended to solve that particular issue.
Oh wait... does this mean that i ha.. ? nvm.

CCP GET your programmers back into the shop and remove EVERYTHING they did to the inventory system! Its a f**king piece crap! Cant even go to my pos with pulling my hair out! i want to be able to open my CHA, SMA, and cargo in separate windows, in the size i want and the position i want. Now i have to Wait for everything around my tower to load, scroll through 600 items hold **** then open then re-size it, eveytime! It takes 10 min to reship and rearm instead of 30 seconds! And if you don't have territory or POS's to manage then shut your holes carebears! |

Apart from the bugs (which are already fixed) I think it's ok. It takes some getting used to thats for sure, everyone bitching about it just needs to have the desire to learn how to use it and they might find out it is not any harder to manage several items with it than the old inventory.
People are more than willing to learn new ways to gank/grief but unable/unwilling to figure out how to use a new inventory, give me a break. I recall one night in a nightclub called the matrix, there I was... Mother of god there I am! Holy f**k. |

First off caps lock is not cruise control for cool no matter what dumbasses on the internet say. Secondly you do know the vast majority of that vast and whiney majority are either
1. Faceless forum alts or 2. the same ten or twenty people posting repeatedly every chance they can get away with it. (One particularly egregious offender managing 6 posts a page for 20 pages straight in a single thread.) |

I am trying to like the UI, and am confident it will be perfect some day. Hopefully it's soon because it's killing my desire to play.
Right now, I salvage a lot of wreck-heavy level 4's and wormholes in a noctis, and it's frustrating as hell. Click on open wreck button, wait 4 seconds for my cargo hold to open up and freeze the whole computer. From that point, there's about a 25% chance the wreck didn't actually open and it stays on my cargo hold, so I have to click open on the wreck again which adds to lag even though a cargo hold window is already open.
Then I click the loot all button and... wait 4 seconds and for my screen to freeze again. And then the wreck window does not disappear and I have to go through the same song and dance with 100 other wrecks. Often the looting takes so long that the salvaging cycle completes halfway through and I have to repeat the process all over again now with a container floating in space.
It should *not* take longer to loot a wreck than it does for a salvage cycle to finish. Anybody who thinks that is ok doesn't ever loot or salvage anyway.
Then when I go back to my hanger and start dumping stuff, it takes a good 30 seconds to move things from one place to another, another minute to stack all. And it keeps changing focus to whatever container I am dragging things too so I have to keep going back and clicking on my cargo hold to get the next round of items selected, after a long pause.
All of these processes were quick and painless once. I don't care how the interface looks, I can relearn it and move on with my life. It's the horrendous lag and freezing of my entire computer that I consider a bug. |

I havent tried salvaging yet but ran some missions this morning and looted everything in them with no lag or trouble. double click wreck hit loot all move to next wreck takes a whole two seconds same as before. Granted I'm not running lvl 4 missions but even with a full cargo hold I didnt get any lag at all.
Edit: Moving things in the hangar is easy when you figure it out, for example when dragging items to a new location dont hover items over target location for more than 1-2 seconds and it wont focus to that container.
