I am neither a fanboi or a hater.
What I am interested in is your feelings about putting sooooo much work into the UI testing on SiSi - and ALL of it being ignored.
Your threads are generally well thought out (even if I disagree with them, which I often do)
I am just curious how somebody, who clearly invests a lot of time into Eve, feels about the lack of respect shown to you regarding the feedback you give.
Personally I am staggered by it. Others may disagree. |

Agree with him or not he is one of the few players on here that makes GD worth reading, IMO.
I have never seen him troll.
All of his/her posts are well written and articulate.
He/she usually has a point...

Probably feels burned. I know I do. My Alt spent a lot of time with it and made at least 10 posts about all the issues.
I really feel sorry for Tippia tbh. That was a lot of work.
Now it's just left to watch the galaxy go slowly dark.

Meh. It's no worse than the CQ/NeX thing and I wrote a whole lot more for that one. I know (now as then) that it got the attention of people GGv some of them even the right people GGv and that's what matters in the end. I'm an analyst by profession and sisi is still just playing a game, so it's not like it's hard work.
If it makes a difference, great. If it doesn't, then I did my part and can lord it over people. Win-win.

Tippia is just annoyed that the playerbase has been ignored again.
Here's just a few things that had rather large player feedback from SISI that CCP ignored:
Incarna:
* CQ Promised to be optional, launched on SISI saying it was only forced to ensure people tested it and it would be optional on TQ....launched on TQ as mandatory.
* Complaints about 1 CQ not being enough. Ignored.
* Complaints about terrible performance. Ignored. All three caused a threadnaught.
Weapon/Mod changes:
Scrams killing MWD's: Massively hurt blaster boats. Pointed out on SISI. CCP ignored for nearly 2 years.
Projectile Buffs: People pointed out that the buffs and Tracking module changes would make them the best all round weapon by far. CCP ignored. Currently still needing a slight nerf.
Supers:
* Motherships: Questioned about lack of role and use when first launched. Ignored. CCP eventually turned them into supercarries. People said on SISI feedback they'd be massively OP in groups. Ignored. Finally being dealt with, but should never have made it on to TQ.
* When Titans were launched, people questioned the role they had. Also pointed out that a remote AOE Doomsday was stupid. Ignored. CCP recently started taken action, many years too late as they should never have been introduced into the game.
Faction Warfare:
* People questioned "where's the rest of it?" when it was released on SISI in an unfinished state. CCP promised iteration and expansion. They ignored it. Have *just* started looking at it again after years.
I can list more but you get the idea. All the big negative changes which have affected EVE have all had pretty big negative feedback on SISI, but CCP never seem to pull the feature, just take notes for small modifications. |

Feeling honored poasting in a Tippia fanboi thread.....
CCP claim to listen and say they do just to appease the 1% of Eve players that read the forums. They know that they cut corners and put out half baked code (cos you gotta get the product out) so I wouldn't feel too bad that your views do not seem to have been taken - but, keep up the feedback Tippia, look forward to your pragmatic posts ...
