Op fails for so many reasons.
"BAWWWWWWWWWWW I DIDN'T FEEL LIKE HANDLING MY PROBLEM MYSELF SO I GOT A GM TO DO IT FOR ME!"
You and your corp are what's ruining the game for other people, not a 3 day old alt who uberpwns you while you sit by watching and doing nothing.
I hope you keep recruitment open because HERE WE COME!

i don't think 'ACCEPT OR NOT ACCEPT attacks' is the answer, that cuts off alot of options in the game (murdering a corpmate is quite valid! and there are ways to get around needing locks to shoot/kill someone which would then render them immune to YOU attacking them normally when they do go haywire, see the knife cuts both ways), just to spite a few ****s who need to setup such a situation to kill a hulk or an orca, and then expect to be patted on the head for being :hardcore:, or whatever, you know the type. Eve uni recently had a spate of corp thefts of a laughably small size, god knows why, am amazed at the tiny amount of alt gankers that get in, whackyprops to the intel guys i guess.
just don't accept brand new players or get clued up on the warning signs (the first warning sign is they want to join your corp - learn to see yourself through the eyes of gankbears )
and yes staying undocked to avoid the boot will get a GM on yer arse 'cos yer bypassing the normal mechanics to pvp someone in highsec, that's nothing new. [ |

So how do you prove infiltrating a corp and killing miners is griefing? Maybe it's a perfectly acceptable market manipulation to increase demand on mining ships? Or competition for ore in belts? Corp stealing is ok, how is destroying corp stuff different? GMs shouldn't fall for tears and help in situations like these, it's not their fault you've let a saboteur into your corp. _____________ I don't care what is nerfed, as long as it's not my "undock" button. |

Ah fun times for all.
I kinda get why the GM booted the dude, even if it is a really petty reason to petition. But yeah ... I hope y'all learned to have screen your recruits a lil better in future. I mean you seriously accept people under 3 days old ? Sheesh. I'm amazed you haven't been scammed into the ground.
If you wanna help people out without having to trust them, you can make yourself a lil 'Punchers Cuddles' channel and have them sit in there, so you can chat, but not in corp. Amazingly you can do all the same stuff with people who aren't in your corp, except that they can't shoot you or steal your stuff. They can even come on your vent, in a lil initiate channel. Come on man ... its not hard. If you wanna trust people with that little amount of knowledge of them then you are pretty much bending over and offering people the KY.

If people can't afford to fit properly and have the skills to do so then they shouldn't be using the equipment, i.e. T2 tank/drones Join channel: "Eve University" or read here |

I think you're missing the point: being able to fly a ship, in this case a T2 mining barge doesn't mean you can fly it anywhere near decent. It's easy to get into a battleship for a new player but getting it fit well, now that is several months away.

After blowing them up and a retriever he refused to dock and you cant kick somebody out while they are in space.
The first question I have for you is why didn't you fleet with the hulks/retrievers, warp on top of him while they were being attacked, web/scram the guy and kill him?
He attacked not one, but three of your ships, so obviously you had more than enough time to organize a response that would have caught him and allowed you to kill him.
What I suspect is he caught 3 macro miners and destroyed them and your ass sore about it.

Intracorp PvP tick boxes are a really crumby carebear idea, but they put another invulnerability field onto the ridiculously over powered Orca Invincible Overpower Wagon. Therefore I presume CCP will implement this more or less immediately.
They invented the damm thing. They can't be surprised people resort to corp ganking to get at them, so invincible they are in high sec.

Right so tell me how you pod a player that is warping around in a system setting bookmarks and wont stop or fight...Now lets try this again..HOW do I pod somebody I cant target see or find..And were getting closer with scanners and probes but he keeps moving around..
I can think of a lot better ways to spend my time then having to do that because of an abused game mechanic
The fact that the GM agreed to do this in EVE is the most scary part, and probably the reason others besides me have contacted either a senior GM or IA. Hope he loses his job. --- I smack just for myself.

11 months in University of Caille and started there. Join a real player corp and we can talk ... i off-c will be the newly recruited guy who 'just started' playing EVE.
PS: I saw in some video someplace how grannies would pick on young fit men and beat them up !

even a hulk with t2 drones could kill a 3 day old noob in a destroyer. sure it is an underhanded game mechanic but even a week old player in a cruiser could take out one of these guys

is there a post anywhere other than this which is disputes the game mechanic allowing corp members by default to kill each other. It seems a bit harsh to say watch who you recruit especially when the game is full of con artists just like the real world. The biggest problem i have when people quote 'in teh real world it could happen' is that in the real world yeah **** does happen companies, banks, what ever it may be gets infiltrated as such and information abotu said company is leaked on the net is a real world example. Now in the real world security checks are done on the persons background if you wanna work at a school or a bank a conviction check is done, cant remember the name but basically a check to see if you got a history, with eve its so easy to setup an alt train him up for a few months and have a killign machine ready to infiltrate corps without ever getting caught cos the reality is when you are caught and your employment history sucks people stop recruiting you by which time you probably got another alt trained up and ready to go :)
So my argument is not about killign corp members should be allowed but is there really enough game features to support realistic checks on a potential member, if not then you cant compare it to real world instances where checks are possible. Anyone who says you can check up on a character is compeltely wrong an alt appears to be new but can actually be controlled by someone 4+ years in experience so how is that fair and if its not supposed to be fair where are the game mechanics to stop this from happenign as its a well known issue when setting up a corp that it will be difficult to trust anyone. Again trust in the real world is not easy to come by so why should it be in EVE, my point again is that eve does not have tools to prevent such problems. In real life if i get caught for murder (shhhh!!! it wasn't me) and i get caught i don't sit in my prison sell thinkign up how to respawn an alt so i can go kill some more, its just not comparable to real life mechanics so i think it should be optional to have internal corp killign disabled or enabled
