First film? Very nice!
there were really only two parts that didnt seem to fit in.
The first was the text at the beginning of the combat half. It was the only only place that had both text and footage and just seemed 'out of place'. Possibly make the mining fade out, have the text on a black screen and then cut in the combat (torp exploding?) at a dramatic beat in music?
Second was the transition at around 3:05, where there is a black screen then the footage flies up from the lower right. It kind of broke the smoothness of the rest of the film's transitions.
Other than those two minor points, it was top notch

thx for the tips, I've played around with the words and put them on a black bacground, and eliminated those transition effects.
the updated video can be found here http://www.simnet.is/garzia/adako.avi
due to limited space on this host I had to delete the old video, and replace it with the updated one. ______________ Only in the Tales that humans tell, do the hunters kill the wolf in the end.

As a closet carebear, I have to comment: "Mining in a tempest?!" (better than in a Raven I guess, but....)
even so, nice film. Good use of music. In fact, what was the source for the sound track?

good video, great music, but not sure why you spent any time making a video consisting of mining veldspar and shooting at corpmates?

Very nice footage. Really puts the movie on a higher level, try working some more with the editing, to keep the visual/musical storyline. It sort of tends to become to much high-praised music, which is stopped by a combat scene at the end of the movie. Building up is good, but to much makes it seem boring.
Anyway, another gj on the filming. Only see this kind of stuff on rare occations in this game.

I second that - could we get a 'soundtrack' listing? Excellent video, hope we get to see more from you in the future.

Brilliant and very beautiful footage I must say! Nice new angles and so on that shows the game in all it's splendor (to bad there is never time to do this in combat).
This is your first video? I must say then that you have done very good with the editing. The characteristics of the clips suited the music perfect. The only improvement as I can see is to "meld" the text more into the video so that it doesn't stick out as much.
Very good work for a first time I must say!
Keep it up!

Let me say something to everybody who is going to watch this video: Good night.
j/k...realy good video...just get some more action next time. Try to use diferent tracks. The music is great, but imo you should have use faster music for combat scenes. _____________

Quote: one question though, why a sensor booster on the Kessi, webber would be better:D
this was frapsed in the corporate tournaments, where everything is allowed, and we had one who loved to use sensor dampeners.
the soundtrack is called BOF_guns1748 after Craig armstrong. and I hope the local icelandic law enforcement agency wont bust me for it but you can get the soundtrack here. http://www.simnet.is/garzia/Craig_Armstrong_-_BOF_Guns_1748.mp3
and mining in tempest, dont get it either but it seems to work, thou he gets the same yield as with the scythe, but those cruise missiles do wonders in low sec mining :)
I already have the music (I think) for my next video, which is going to be, let's say more combat oriented :) ______________ Only in the Tales that humans tell, do the hunters kill the wolf in the end.
