go to newegg.com and search for laptops with dedicated graphics. then just sort em by ratings and get the one that sounds the best.

Well, one, he says he wants to store and/or listen to music on it. So, your reasoning is moot. Secondly, I suppose you think buying a game console is an absolute waste of money, because all they're good for is games.

I got mine from Dell (Dell Inspiron 1420) specifically for playing Eve.
Works well enough and has coped with the extra improvements oveer the past 2 years...
Works especially well when Dell include paste for the heat sink....
DEll=Fail in that regard! But I did get a new motherboard when they thought it needed replacing so it evens out!

Edited by: Ms Freeze on 15/08/2009 06:14:27 I use a Acer Aspire 7735ZG 17,3" WXGA+, with Radeon HD4570 512MB dedicated, Pentium T4200, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, DVD¦RW, Webcam, VHP.
Runs EVE with all on high real smooth, same goes for Unreal Tournament 3.
Cheap too, somewhere around 750-800 dollars.
