Greetings:
What skills impact how fast a ship turns about (is that called aligning)?
Thank you.

Anything that reduces your ship's inertia modifier or increases your agility will positively affect your ship's turning capabilities. ---

The latter two only for capital ships, concentrate on the first two.

Does Capital Ships help a Freighter align faster?

No. Just advanced spaceship command and the other one... evasive manoeuvring.
On another note, how do you like your pods in the morning? |

Also, if you're aligning from a dead stop (such as a freighter after jumping) the speed that your ship turns is irrelevant as ship agility only affects how fast a ship that's moving turns, despite what you see on the screen.
If you want to see this in action, just warp after jumping as normal, then when you're up to about 25% speed have someone in your corp web you. This will reduce your top speed but not your current speed and you'll instawarp. You'll also warp sidewise, which is lol-worthy.

Might want to read the page on Acceleration.
Agility = mass * inertia modifier
Increasing agility directly affects acceleration,
From dead stop there is no align time, only acceleration time. Ships can warp at 75% of max velocity.
Tips: - Stop after exiting a station, then warp away. It is faster. You exit a station at a speed much higher than the ship's max velocity, which means it takes a very long time to change direction if you don't come to a stop first. Hold CTRL SPACE to stop when you see the black screen.
- If you are at Jita 4-4, instead warp to (not 0) the moon or planet dead-ahead, stop, then warp away. Setting up straight ahead exit bookmarks (200 km or more) for Jita, Amarr, etc., works too. This also keeps you from bumping people, or getting bumped. You can always tell who the noobs are

if you put a 100mn ab on a orca, it basically insta warps when the ab turns off after 1 cycle easier than using webbers if your solo.
