starting rather slow fo rmy tastes.. Also, a ton of the stuff is totally wrong.. especially the part about their way they simulate gravity on the ship.
or the random crap happening .. some of it is just crazy.

Apparently I live in the wrong country (video is restricted) I've been having this distinct feeling for a while.

Seriously, this.
Dunno if I can be bothered to follow it. The first 3 episodes seemed so crappily made. All the 'event horizon' -stuff doesn't really help either.

I though it was pretty good.
The intrigue they've created is a bit meh but still like it.

The pseudoscience holding them to the deck is probably a budgetary requirement, they simply don't have the money to film in simulated zero G for extended periods.
Like many sci fi shows it has started slow. Firefly was a great show that was canceled before its first season in the United States, and this one could suffer the same fate.
I believe they have spent to much time on the sexual innuendo so far. I mean these people have barely left Earth Orbit and all they can think about is sex, how they gonna make it 6 years.
Also only 2 were on the mars mission where they left behind 2 other astronauts at the insistence of mission control.
The mission of the ship is to visit 7 planets in 6 years. I'm assuming that is Venus, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune though they've so far only mentioned Venus and Mercury. I guess ideally each season would be about 1 planet perhaps putting Venus and Mercury in 1 season since neither has moons.
Still I hope the network gives it a chance there is a rumour that if viewership falls more ABC will pull it. That's the problem that sci fi shows run into, your creating a new world that folks are not familiar with and the networks seldom give the writers a chance these days to develop it.

Its a joint production with the BBC and a few other people so pretty much bull**** on the ABC bit.

Got OK-ish reviews but not great. Might give it a look.
