I think it would be cool if CCP can make a mobile version of Eve for windows mobile operating systems. With limitations of course. Off the top of my mind: - mainly you can only change skills
if it works out fine: - may be ability to change market prices, start / stop research / production jobs if you are in the available station last time you logged off. - No graphics, well may be very few like eve logo but no game play.
Since windows mobile operates just the like regular version, I don't think this is something impossible.
Anyway, this is request /brainstorm topic for something very easy to do and would come very handy and useful... I believe mobile apps like those would attract more interest in game (ok that was a lie, but CCP like sentences like those :P )
lets see how many people agree on that ...

Always interesting to me how many people want to play eve without really playing eve they resisted the skill queue idea for years because they felt that it would allow people to do stuff without interact with others to much and now you are saying they didn't go far enough because some time in a 24 hour period when a skill is finishing you can't find time to get on a computer to add a new skill -- Finds camping stations from the inside much easier. Designer of Yapeal for Eve API.

well here I am bored at work, I want to do something, why not play with my skill queue or change the sell orders in the market.. I am a programmer myself and I like being mobile [probably because I am lazy as well], hell I even used to have my own server at house where I provide my own music thru a web service so I don't have to load every song on my handheld :) well, just saying so you know my approach here, mobility is good and doesn't hurt :)
also, there are hundreds of eve players who can't find that 24 hour frame to log on... lost internet connection, off to business trip, soldiers sent to remote places, too much work, girl friend visiting and etc. Those are all possible scenarios, why not make eve closer during those times?

I like the Idea but it sounds more like something that would work only for smartphones. What I would like is one thing that even EVEmon doesn't do. I want to put the appliction on a non smartphone. Like the motorola hint. And then say i'm on the road and one of my skills finished training and I had none left on queue. I could get an internet connection so I take out my phone and add a skill to the training queue. Thats All I want really.
But I don't want it to be smartphone only.
Edit: And a voice would say: Skill training completed. C'mon it would be nice when you don't have an internet signal at camp......

that's actually easy to do. You can already view the skills through API feeds. If you can see them, you can change them assuming the possibility that CCP would allow you to do so. At this point, security would be an issue. That's why I proposed the idea as a request from CCP, otherwise, given the access through web services, anyone can do that.
