I caught part of it, will watch it all (way to go , DVR) later, but what I saw looked good. Too bad Disney is wasting it on a channel few will see. Why can't I just delete my signature CCP? WHYYYYYYY? |

Its.. ok. Just I wish animators would stop going to these, odd shaped characters... ling legs, body parts that aren't uniform. Everyone is doing it and I think it looks like they aren't trying b/c making a human body look more like a human body is too hard.
The long legs ruined it... but the storyline is decent. If EvE WiS is Space Barbie, then I'm built like a Ken Doll:

The art style and character design, what you describe as 'long legs' is excellent.

I hope it'll make it out of the US, SciFi content seldom does since it doesn't get as much audience as other shows and often gets cut off early, Battlestar Galactica had a rushed end and almost failed to have it halfway through season 4, V 2009 didn't get a third season or the Sarah Connor Chronicles, only to name a few on the top of my head. It's the same BS with music, I regularly find tunes on comercial music websites but can't buy them due to some pre-digital era business models. And then the RIAA whines about piracy when they prevent people genuinely motivated to buy stuff, from doing so. Have a look here. "- You want a sandwich, Bacon?" Support horizontal scrollbars in Eve! Odd channel name (Disney XD, for anyone doing searches). I apparently have it though, so its been stuck in the recording setup for now.
I may have come here from Myst Online, but that does not make me any less bloodthirsty than the average Eve player.
Just more subtle.

Which is ridiculous as nearly all sci-fi is storyline lead and progressive - in fact its a whole new world init - and cutting them off like they do shows what retards and ******** thinkers are employed in the 'entertainment' business nowadays.
I was especially gutted about V personally, first sci-fi id got really into in ages and the step up from the original in intrigue alone was a pleasant surprise. Yeah, was gutted to hear it got cut off too, I vaguely remember the original serie in my young years and really wanted to follow it. "- You want a sandwich, Bacon?" It "premiered" on Disney (or something, I don't watch TV lol) and then they re-released it on the regular channel that it's going to be playing on. Intelligence shouldn't be free. -á Mining, reloaded. -á-áADDICTED. |

Actually it replayed on ABC (WABC New York here, good 'ol 7) last saturday afternoon. No commercials even (other than for the series on XD), unheard of for that genre.
Seems interesting, I liked it. I'm starting to wonder though if the Samurai Jack / Clone Wars guys are doing this one, since some of the moves look familiar (and also may explain why the characters look that way). Also very happy to see that they continue to use a green tint for forms of corruption, which I think started in the Tron 2.0 game.

I really liked it -- but I am a sucker for anything Tron. Disney really pulled through on this show. They didn't puss out. Programs actually get derezzed so death occurs. Great action and a unique style.
This is a pretty good time for American animation. I doubt many of the animators were American, but I just mean for American produced shows. The few episodes of Thundercats I saw seemed quite good. And Legend of Korra is excellent. |
