1-Wyvern. It's going backwards.
2-Leviathan. It's going backwards.
3-Revelation. It's going backwards.
4-Aeon. It's like taking a orund piece of paper and folding it in half, then calling it a ship. It should probably look more like a giant Sigil.
5-Moa. WTF.
Yeah, yeah, I know Caldari ships are supposed to look like a drunk guy played with Lego, but srsly, backwards ships are too much.

They need work, sure, but you sir, have NO eye for aesthetics!
Imagine a rev if it flew the other way around, ridiculous, and not at all imposing.

Well, a lot of the ships in eve look individual enough to warrant having lovers and haters. One ship that I can't stand is the Aeon. Honestly, all it needs to repair thus ship us to at least have HALF of the ship put back on the side. Having a large sigil with a runway on the side is all good but it looks like it's missing half of the ship after rolling off the production line!
That and some of the faction ships, they went to the trouble of desinging a number of individual ships but appeared to give up with others. The Bhaalgorn for example.

Someone or other ages ago described the Moa as "the bastard child of a swan and a toaster." Fits pretty well imo.

First time I hopped into a rifter I thought it was going backwards. I've gotten pretty used to it now though. |

Wolf - Jaguar
Just switch the models on these two, no reason to utterly worthless Wolf has the good looking model.

The Moa looks like it was trying to transform into a giant robot but got stuck halfway. ________________________________________________

The moa is quite possibly the worst looking ship in the game. Thats one of its strong points i think.

Anathema.
Yes, it looks awesome. That's my point; 90% of the time I fly the damn thing it's cloaked.
I want the anathema hull on a ship I *fight* in. Just look at those engines! They were made to zoom around victims while pewpewing/neuting(*cough* Sentinel hull swap? *cough*) them to death. Maybe pecking a hole in the victim's hull with that beak-thingy.
Also: malediction looks "fightier" than the crusader. Why do the missile guys get the most awesome looking color themes? |

1-Wyvern. It's going backwards. Wyvern looks pretty cool imo. 2-Leviathan. It's going backwards. leviathan is not the ugliest ship really 3-Revelation. It's going backwards. revelation.. well it looks crappy. 4-Aeon. It's like taking a orund piece of paper and folding it in half, then calling it a ship. It should probably look more like a giant Sigil. aeon is the last mommy made that day, and the creators only finished one side.
5-Moa. WTF. Moa is a damn ugly ship indeed
have you ever looked to the: helios? archon? domi? scorpion? rokh?

Some Gallente ships look like the designer was drunk when he made them, the Imicus and Exequror in particular. There is asymetric design and there is just plain wrong.
Fortunately, most of the other Gall designs are made of win (incursus, rax, mega). And while the domi may look like a space whale, it's at least more or less symetrical (and looks less like a space turd than it used to).

Ferox also looks like it's flying backwards... would look very nice and normal if it flew the other way, although as it is it does have a kind of exotic feel to it.
Leviathan and Wyvern look really awesome the way they are, really. Think of them as huge mobile stations or structures, and you'll look at them differently. Aeon isn't bad either if you try to visualise it as a large carrier, with the core feature being a HUGE runway, and having a large complex/airport control centre on one side. When ships are that large the aerodynamics are less important, and the imposing shape of the structure kind of becomes more attractive for me.
I don't like Revelation, though. I also can't stand the "scary movie" face on the front of the Avatar, but then it's probably to scare its enemies when it arrives.
I have no problems with non-symmetrical ships if the asymmetry was the only feature.. sadly some like the Imicus do require a certain amount of tolerance or fetish to fly.

I have to add the Caracel to the list of ugly ships.... not just for det looks.... but for the combination of looks and purpose.... It's a cruiser.... with the purpose to use weapons and shoot stuff, yet it looks like a industrial ship meant to carry/freight containers (literally).

And the other half happened when the designer who also does sextoys mixed up his 3D models delivery.

The Magnate/Anathema and the Crucifier/Sentinel should have their models swap. The Crucifier hull is the best hull in the game for an astrometrics ship, but is completely inappropriate for a combat ship.
The Omen needs its little siamese twin dead baby Omen removed from its right side. Make that ship symmetrical - it's an Amarr design for God's sake!
The Harbinger needs a new turret hardpoint for the seventh gun.
The minmatar shuttle model is gorgeous and needs to be used on an actual working ship -- maybe the Slasher/interceptor, or the Breacher/Hound. Use one of those two crappy models for the new minmatar shuttle.

The Vexor looks like a flying blow-dryer or a hot glue gun, IMO. I know the Gallente have a reputation for being slightly effeminate, but seriously, a flying blow-dryer?
OTOH, the Brutix looks like one of those thick, really cohesive loogies you cough/spit up after being really sick with the flu. Fortunately, hawking up loogies is Manly(tm) so there's some hope for the Gallentes. But the Brutix has mini-wings. A loogie with wings. Feminine products have wings... Argh, so much for Gallente machismo.

I'm not sure if anyone thought the Pod needed a redesign, but CCP sure did. I just got a glimpse of my space egg for the first time in a while, it looks totally different. No longer has random jets of flame, and actually looks Jovian in design now.
Strange thing is, the old design is still the item image. Here's hoping they give some stealth love to some of the other ships... (fixing the Dominix texture, anyone?)
