tax rate would be 5% reason if people want to have complete protection from being wardeced then they should pay a little something for it, and 5% is not an over the top amount of tax since most corps ive seen have it between 10 and 20 so they would still be below the average. to help newer players that are jsut starting out where every little bit of isk counts mabye you might want to have this as a "older noob" corp which upon reaching say six months of age your automatically transfered into from the "young noob" corp which has no tax.

I support this fully. Hell, I'd support something even higher too.

I support a tax on null sec corps- null sec has the better paying ratting, the best payout for deadspaces, and moon minerals. These ppl are just sitting around getting rich- we should tax them at least 5% and give that isk to poor cpts who spend all their time in highsec.

Personally I think 3 months or so in the 'free' corp then auto moved to a ~50% tax corp (Make all non starting NPC corps charge ~50%) would be a good step forward. It takes decent funds to bribe concord into not letting wardecs work. ---------------------------------------------------

That service i worth exactly 2 millions every time you are wardecced.
I.e. the isk needed to open a new corp.
So, get lost.

- Make creating new corp cost 0 isk - Don't allow players to re-join npc corps after they left original noob corp. Except fw corps.

concord is not bribable. all war decs are official, above board transactions.
moving on, id agree. RP explanation for this would be the maintenance of an army by the NPC corps to keep wardecs at bay.
50% sounds like a nice round number. id say this: as soon as your double-speed training runs out, you get auto-moved to the NPC corp, which has a 50% tax on currently taxable stuff, plus a 10% tax on all market sales and refining operations, no matter where you conduct these businesses.
basically the idea is that if you want to avoid a wardec you can, but heres the flip side: everything becomes more expensive.
if im a missioner, i get half the bounties and half the mission payouts, and half the LP.
if im a miner, i get 10% of my minerals taken, even if i refine them in a non-sebiestor tribe station.
if im a trader, i pay a 10% premium on all my sales.

So long as CCP is aggressive against the farmers - why give a crap about NPC corps? If someone is going to stay in a NPC corp so they do not get war deced, then force or encouragement to join player corps isn't going to do much. Those people will stay docked, and if they get tired of ship spinning, then they will leave Eve. If they leave Eve, then less money for CCP and less new shiney stuff for the rest of us.

And what will this accomplish?
Let's see: - if I don't want to join another corp you can't eject me from your corp; - I can't start a new corp while I am in one, so unless I play with alts and alternate accounts I can't leave without joining another corp.
You should engage the brain before posting.

No service, no tax.
The only service available from NPC corp is the avoidance of wardec, and that cost 2 millions every wardec if you are in a player corp and at that point the PC corp get exactly the services of the NPC corps: no POS (as every wardec you would have to tear it down), no hangars (same reason) and a shared channel.
So add a 2 million fee to avoid a wardec and you don't have any difference between NPC corp and player corps unless you want the "advanced" services of a player corp.
BTW, if you want to tax trade, I want my tax refound on purchases.
