Lo there.
Does anybody have a decent travelling setup thrugh 0,0, with bs preferable Dominix. Its a lot to think about, having npc, pirates camping gates and so on.
The one i was thinking about got this setup:
4 wcs. 2 cap relays. 3 large cap. 2 mwd. 2 425mm rails mounted for unexpected frig jammers.
If anyone got something better i most welcome it here.

The only frig jammers you will see will be those that are close to you so you better switch out those 425mm for something with better tracking. __________ Capacitor research |

Don't know the slot layout for dominix off the top of my head, but it doesn't include missiles does it? I would fill low slots with WCS, keep a dual MWD and then have blasters or smaller guns to keep nasty little frigateses at bay.

Don't know the slot layout for dominix off the top of my head, but it doesn't include missiles does it? I would fill low slots with WCS, keep a dual MWD and then have blasters or smaller guns to keep nasty little frigateses at bay.

This should get you fast enough to approach gates quickly and also help in aligning for warp outs. If you got a few pesky frigs/ceptors bothering you, you have enough offense to take em out or scare em off. Dont even bother with bigger targets, since you are concentrating on travelling. Oh yea, and avoid Scorps or BBs, but you will usually fly right by em.

For a Tempest:

M: 1 MWD 3 x Afterburner II's (or I's) Heavy Cap Injector with 400's in your cargo - or 2 MWD, 1 Afterburner, 2 x Cap Recharger II's if you need your cargo space ( 2 MWD is pointless for gate travel as you use up so much Cap and don't get the massive speed before you jump, but good for legging it if needed - 1 MWD and 1 AB work much better for gate travel IMO)
L: 2 or 3 WCS 4 or 3 Nanofibres
Quick, and nimble (ish) and if a Frigate locks you shoot the fecker with 6 280's and he'll soon leave you alone, or blast him with the NOS's and he will be disabled.
Use the general idea on your Dominix or any other BS to that idea, i.e. small guns on top etc etc to mkae sure you are fast enough to leg it or shoot the small stuff that can keep up with you. I jumped through a gate like this once and had 3 BS and 4 frigs the other side, I legged it away at Dual MWD speed with only the frigs giving chase, as soon as I was far enough away with them all locked I just took 2 out with the small guns and the other 2 moved off.

If 2 Frigs have you Webbed and Scrambled with +2's each then your not going anywhere mate! not even 2 MWDs is gonna get you out of there, your best bet is to blow up the Frigates and make it out before you get toasted by the larger ships! No Frigates = chance to either warp out or Dual MWD away, then warp out. Just have a little think about what chances you'll have, it isn't going to effect your PG, CPU by fitting small guns anyway, so why not fit them as a safe guard! take it as a given
