Dear Morons who think the nano nerf had to happen.
You do realise that you are a moron.. just before I get started, because if you don't you will do.
Lets look at the facts, Vaga's could go fast.. like silly fast.. liks 20k m/s as said in the post. The Interceptors went fast... everything that should be fast went fast, except the Ishtar, which has no bonus to speed etc other then its mass and fitting, and I think personally it was the Nano Ishtar that triggered the whole nano nerf.
So here is a message from myself, to CCP and the general idiots whom supported the nano nerf.
ARE YOU A MORON?
We had target painters... You make a Nano HAC or any ship to that matter the size of a ****ing carrier your going to hit it.
We had the means to hit Nano ships before the nerf.
CCP - You designed the game... and yet.. from petitions and other things it seems that none of you actully "play" the game, or what I would consider playing.. not just coming on to **** around in your shiny ships generally not understanding the game mechanics that are implemented (don't get me wrong there are a few good GM's but as basically everybody in EvE that has ever petitioned for the most part you employ people that don't understand EvE).
To the General Morons - Here's a tip... Get some god dam target painters... They work as they should surprisingly... Then your rr bs gangs could of had a nice lil 3 or 4 armor buffer tp and web rapiers/huggins that could of swung the fight in your favor.
Ive been Lord Jamuga and you've just been Emo Raged.

Total kills while flying something that can be broadly considered a nanoship, pre-QR: ~17-18 (flew a nano-cynabal while drunk for the lols).
Total kills pre-QR: ~2000. If you have to know, at least 20-30 were nanohac/nanorecon solo kills in a plated BC (or, on one occasion, a plated Rupture). More then that in gangs. Total solo losses to a nanoship: 0.
Hm, I don't think it's me lacking the I-win button. Or rather, I don't think it's even a I-win button.
I think you're just bad at playing the game.

I don't remember ever taking a vaga much past 10km/s, but regardless:
the people who could fly well enough to get kills flying what were essentially highly volatile rocket engines with guns do even better now that webs have been eviscerated. Also, it has come to my attention that I'm really in need of a proper signature. |

So let me just condense down what you're saying....
Nano-ships were so popular because they were I-Lose buttons????
Seriously, you may want to read your own statements for laughability factor before posting them
The main problem with nano-ships was that making a mistake in one was easily remedied by a simple push of the MWD button. You'd be out of scramble range in a couple of seconds (which is less than the time it takes to lock you), and can safely warp away. In short, it could be flown with something close to invulnerability.
CCP correctly observed this, and corrected it.
People crying over lost I-win buttons is almost as fun as people crying and emoraging over ninja-salvagers

No, because they made roaming in a HAC safer then it is now. It was fairly safe - but not invulnerable. Right now you're practically insane if you solo in a HAC of any sort. Except maybe, but just maybe, a Vagabond.

Lol, fail. Making the mistake in one (being webbed) often resulted in dying. Very often, actually. The only thing was that you could pimp it to silly proportions which would make even webs not work very well on you without special counters, but that was rare - polycarbon /T2 fits were common and very killable.

You do realise that the emo whine of the nano haters had little to nothing to do with the nano nerf? It was mostly based on the fact that speeds were approaching levels that the server simply couldn't handle and was causing havoc with the missile and tracking calulations.

Just a note - medium guns don't track that well when you are traveling 20km/s. If you can't shoot them, they can't shoot you. Exception to the rule was the Ishtar which could use drones. However, those can be blown up very easily when the ishtar is too busy trying to stay out of web range. In general, if a nanoship wanted to do damage, they had to slow down.
The frustrating thing about nanoships was that they allowed a ship to disengage very easily - regardless of whether they were in a bubble or not. Heck, even if they were webbed they could often times still get out. So nanoships were more of a get out of jail free card than an I win button.

Not really, I like my vaga a lot more since it actually takes skill to fly it, and not just a truckload of isk (which I dont have).
Still, I hate the recent agility nerf, that was stupid.

The game is the most balanced it has ever been. Don't miss the old days at all... However, you might want to consider a few things, first of all; I now have one of those annoying sigs. second; you should probably move on to some more interesting things than reading this sig.

It wasn't so bad when only a few ppl were nanoed up, but when it became the norm things started to get old. Luckily I can fly the Mimatar recons, so single handedly turning the tide against a nano gang was always fun. I do miss my recons being effective though (it ammused me that a nano Huginn could outpace most other nano ships!)

It was never about hiting them it was about keeping them from warping
Nano***s were all about avoiding fights. You know that if you`re so proud to have been one. Give it up allready you sound like an emo beatch . CCP fixed speed , great for EvE
Come again , how did you force a fight on a nano gang unless you were in a nano gang yourself?
Cause in my experience the nano***s got to allways chose there fights and they had to be dumb as night to fight unless they wanted it . scram/web it and it would still swing straight out of tackle range

I missed the need to fly a minmatar recon or a vaga on every ****ing gang too. Then I remembered, that I don't actually like flying them, but the reality of things forced me to do so. I also remembered how happy I was to get released from that slave collar and seeing the myriad of tears the nano***s cried brought true joy to my heart. What I didn't expect is that almost a year after the nerf it could still bring me the delicious tears that sustain me. Apparently the nanonerf is a gift that still keeps on giving.
