Alright, my friend and I are trying to figure out how to fit our cruisers to take on Sleepers in Class 1/2 wormholes. First of all, is this even possible with only 2 cruisers? We don't really want to risk our battlecruisers. Also, we want to use as little t2 as possible so the eventual loss doesn't hit the wallet too hard.
Anyway, I can fly Minmatar and Amarr cruisers (although my Laser skills are pathetic). He flies Gallente.
We had been planning on using either a Rupture (4x Arty, Salvager, Probe Launcher) and him in a Blaster Thorax. I was also looking at the Maller (since it didn't have any real bonus to Lasers, but had nice resist bonuses).
So help on choosing what to fly and how to fit it is greatly appreciated. We might have more people joining the gang, but I'd like to plan for just the two cruisers in case.
Thanks!

The problem with skimping on modules is that you might lack the tank or gank to do anything to the Sleepers.
Also remember that W-space is 0.0 so you are likely to have player ships to deal with as well.
Two cruisers should be able to handle class 1/2s, I solo them in my Brutix, but the longer you take to kill the sleepers the more your risk of getting popped. I would recomend fitting something that allows you to get in hit hard and run fast if you have to.

Well Try getting high resists. Your prober might wanna drop some guns if the powergrid or cpu gets used by them and instead use resistance mods. Yes it is of course possible to do a class 1 or 2 wormhole with cruisers but if you're gonna save cash on tech 2 then thats risky.

Well I'm not sure about my friend's tank, but I can get my lowest resist to about 55% on my Maller at least. Not sure about the Rupture. My Maller's lows look like: DCU 2, Explosive Hardener, Kinetic Hardener, Gyro 2, 800mm RT Plate

You probably want a web to slow down the frigs to help you hit them.
In a C1 / C2 you should get away with an optimal of around 15km.

Still, with cruisers and T1 modules fail is the most likely result. Get two BC, give 'em some omni resist and you won't have to jump out every three minutes leaving your wingman tanking alone. A Brutix with mwd/2xweb/capbooster would be a fine mate of a pulse Harbinger - Harb' can have a warp disruptor, it can be useful. Probe launcher can be offline if you low on CPU. Skills and enuff slots are harder to get than a wingman or a team - think in pairs when planning a loadout.
