Folks,
Did a little digging in the database from our website and came up with:
Top 5 Ships
43 - Rook 35 - Drake 26 - Ishkur 22 - Nighthawk 20 - Tengu
Top 5 Ships Destroyed
32 - Rook 17 - Drake 16 - Ishkur 15 - Kitsune 11 - Thrasher
Value Fielded: 85,303 Million ISK (excluding fittings) Value Lost: 38,668 Million ISK (excluding fittings)
Any thoughts on this?

Not surprised by those stats at all - my team was designed around it. No ability of the opponent to warp out gave shield tankers and missiles an advantage.

More thrashers (and destroyers all around) were fielded than I would've expected. I mean, I love the thrasher, but it's strengths don't really show in this kind of tourney. _________

point value, very simply. thrasher costs 2, t1 frig costs 3 (as do ceptor and dictor, not sure what the thinking was there). In fact even Tyrrax's alt's Itty 5 cost more points than a thrasher.

Tis a nice website :)
43 - Rook
Fairly surprising so many ecm ships being used. I havent been playing since ecm nerf... I really expected ecm to be much less popular.
35 - Drake
WHY! Hey dont get me wrong. Great newb ship for newbs to rat in or do lvl 3 missions or tagteam drake for lvl 4s. NOT for the alliance tourny.
You might be able to do something wierd... 3x large energy xfer, 4pds, caprechargers, cccs. but um no.
26 - Ishkur 22 - Nighthawk 20 - Tengu
makes sense.
59/98 minnie die: 60.2% death 131/210 caldari: 62.4% death 82/124 gallente: 66.1% death 68/112 amarr: 60.7% death
Pretty interesting how that is. Does that ever scream boost gallente; Isnt the gallente fail warfare team doing horrible? Also makes you wonder why caldari are so popular when statistically they are doing worse then amarr or minnie.
Statistically minnie are the best. Yet they are the least fielded.
Gallente are supposed to be some of the best pvpers. Yet they are doing so poorly all around. BUFF GALLENTE!

For being such a bad ship they have a comparably very good survival ratio with only 48.6% destroyed.
Looking at the winners vs losers statistics it seems EW ships in general haven't done very well. Winners fielded 40% of the recon ships and 12% of the electronic attack frigates. They also fielded only 5% of the HACs. Numbers that stand out in the other direction are logistics cruisers 58% of total, tier 1 battle cruisers 70%, Destroyers at 67%, interceptors at 85% and marauders at 75%.

No tech I cruisers were used because they cost way to many points to field.
the results are no surprise.
The only surprising team fielded was probably the goon fleet.
All in all, pretty much as expected so far.
Disappointed with many alliances though.

In this tourney a Tier 1 BC costs the same as a T1 cruiser, points-wise.

Not really nerfed, but rather buffed. They generally lost jamming range but gained offensive ability.
I am still waiting for the all (or lots) of Rooks/Falcons line-up, they can field good buffer tanks and do decent damage while keeping jams running. Should be ideal circumstances when there is no warping around negating the need for tackling.
Want more blaster and pewpew slug-outs though. The missile spam is getting old

2x Hounds is 12 points.
3x Siege IIs with Bane Rage Torps, 3x BCU IIs and a MWD and 2x Hydraulic Bay Thruster rigs
Zoom around at 2100m/s with the mwd cap stable and launch Torps with a 70km range inflicting 650dps explosive damage per Hound. Bye bye Drake.
Have a ship tackle the drake keeping it's speed down and TP it up and then the two Hounds will rip it in no time and pretty much anything else that is tackled.

My team fielded 2 rooks 1 falcon 2 kitsune 1 widow + eos, basilisk, cormorant, itty 5 came close to winning (on points) but not lost due to insufficient dps and pilot/FC errors (plus opponents were quite good and had a strong anti-ecm setup going) Think ours was probably the most ECM heavy team so far, and since ECM is gay we totally deserved to lose

The ship counts are cool. Gallente doesn't need a buff.
What I would like to see is an SP comparison by team.
It would be extra sweet for the upset teams if they beat a "favored" alliance and used less SP.
I know that in the ED vs BDEAL fight some pilots on both sides were not 03/04 toons. Some I believe were 08 toons.
Give us all the stats!!!!

Nice ... except Drakes have a 50% base explosive shield resistance and that is before the ship's 5% shield resistances per level bonus kicks in, any gang bonuses are considered and any resistance modules are counted. You'd be lucky to do 25% of that damage at the end of the day!

You're looking at it the wrong way. Having a low loss percentage doesn't mean a ship is better it means it was primaried less. A ship being very good means it'll likely be primaried, and likely die first off.
Also, the tournament is not real pvp, you cannot make any conclusions about what needs to be buffed/nerfed on TQ based on tournament statistics (especially first weekend statistics, and especially looking at total statistics rather than winner statistics).

Drake is going to have good resists vs everything if it is designed to have a huge tank.

Another weakness of the Drake is it's relatively poor targeting range which is 75km unless it is boosted. If range is boosted it wont have a strong tank.
FoF's have a 60km range from memory.
4 point investment, Keres: 3x RSD IIs with range scripts 1x SB II 1x 1mn AB II 2x PDP I rigs
Can go with DCII, Energized reactive membrane II and some 200mm plates, would give you a bit of EHP.
Would be cap stable at 41% using all modules.
Can fly around at 1km/s and orbit at a range of 63km (outside of FoF range) and Dampen the targeting range down of the Drake from 75km to 18km with 2 RSDs going, fling the third on another enemy ship in range.
Assuming a totally offensive drake with no real tank and 2x SB IIs with range scripts would boost his targeting range to 182.58km, all 3 RSDs would reduce his range to 24.75km.
Also has room for a small drone, throw in a Hornet EC-300 if you are utilizing a lot of ecm drones in general, could use a rep drone, whatever.
Pack in a couple of 200mm AC IIs, other than dampening you can fly around assassinating enemy drones.
This is probably one of the best ships point for point in the game, surprised people aren't using them more often in tournaments.

I think you're under the assumption that pvp drake uses shield power relays and purger rigs. When you don't fit a Drake for fail they're pretty damn good. I suggest reading up some fits on the forums for pvp - probably the best battlecruiser in the game.
I also wouldn't make requests for boosting/nerfing ships - tournament has little to do with tranquility pvp.
The rules for the tournament are a blast to play with though!

How do I find out what each of the winning teams ship loadouts were? I know they change from match to match, but it would be helpful to understand what the winners did right, and what the losers did wrong.

Two of your top 5 ships used have ecm bonuses(tengu if configured for that)
Two of your top 5 ships destroyed are ecm boats.
It's all about the ecm is what I am seeing in this tournament. Big quesiton is will CCP re-think the ecm nerf/buff (30% per level), since similar results lead to damp nerf (and no simultaneous buff there). Instead, I think ECM changes should be moderated back toward what they were, and the other combat recons given range buffs for their ew.
Also, lol, 4 of the top 5 ships used are Caldari. Yes the tournament is not real pvp, but hopefully this will convince the many Caldari whiners that their ships can in fact pvp. PvP is a gang thing, CCP does not want it to be solo, and it has steadily becoming less soloable for all races (speed nerf being part of that).
