Let me guess, you told your Admins to stop playing psdoom on the servers? --

Just a quick question, is EVE as pretty on the Mac or Linux as it is in PC land?

Well deployed update and all, but may I ask how you can justify a 5 hour downtime for such a minor patch?

You must be new around here...five hours is slightly below average for patches. :D

Pfffft,...... now comes the question,....Do you want the patch fast or,....
Do you want the patch right the first time,..>>>like the rest of us<<<<
Ill wait what ever time it takes to get it right,...OH and by the way,...it took over 24 hours for them to get it right. If you remember, CCP had to delay deployment of the patch a day,.... GREAT JOB CCP,....cudos,.....Keep up the great work. Over the past couple patch so far i have had very little problems with deployment.

Might just be my imagination but everything feels a lot smoother and faster now. Especially the market is pretty responsive IMO.
Very happy panda with this patch so far

How do you know it was a minor patch? I presume you are ranking the patch based upon new content rather than the code changes that went into the patch?

Well i do not know about EVE on Mac, but Linux belong to the same "PC land" actually, and we are using same windows client, there it is as pretty as on windows. But since we are using EVE client which is not a native Linux, we ofcource have some little sacrifices to make, like if i want to play EVE in full screen mode, i cannot use dual box (only works well when in windowed mode), but it's rather small price to pay for m$ not owning our asses hehe

As promised in the release notes then we are planning a dev blog with excruciating amounts of details of the changes we made in Apocrypha 1.5.1. In fact it is in the publication process, being proof-read as we speak.

I salvage the rats that attack me when mining, after the patch, I attemptd to salvage 20 separate ships and got nothing, I never had that level of fail rate before, have you adjusted salaving factors?

Back to normal average in terms of salvage, it was just a bit odd in that 20 straight salvage attempts ended up with nothing.

I noticed I had connection problems today. That's not usual. Problems logging in and getting dc'ed. Thought it was just me but asking around turns out that about 1/4 had the same problems. --- Sol: A microwarp drive? In a battleship? Are you insane? They arenĘt built for this! Still getting Agent Mission windows showing up black with no information. Repeated openings and closings sometimes fixes it, sometimes undocking fixes it.
These are regular agents, not Epic Arc agents
Desync still seems to be there at gates and stations. Not as bad as before.
Other than that, everything else so far seems to be working fine

My 2nd account is booted every 15ish minutes. :-( I normally can play 3 accounts at once, but normally just do 2. Played fine last night, patch is only thing new. Hoping just "new patch day" hiccups and not something permanent.

I've been having that happen to me regularly for months now. The client doesn't crash, there is no warning or notification, but the client simply stops talking to the server and so far as I can tell, neither client nor server realise.
I've closed the client, rerun it, and logged in to find my ship still mining the same rock. It sometimes happens with just a single account logged in, but is near certain with multiple.
One more curious note - I've noticed that if I set my Orca orbitting a POS, with gang links operational, it doesn't crash. But leave the gang links off, or don't orbit - it becommes disconnected.

winxp 64 here, Steam client eve. occasional disconnects and lagspikes. when i run the game asks me to download the patch, i do then when it instals tells me the installation is corrupt. downloaded the offline patch. set steam to check the game cache, steam takes me back to previous version, so the cycle starst again. this time i upgrade with offline patch installer same results. right now i'm downloading the full install client. will report results

I've had a little bit more lag than usual while running 2 clients, but other than that its been fine. Absolutely everything is subjective. |

* A server side issue has now been fixed that could cause node deaths if system administrators pressed certain buttons.
Did you remove the power switches from all your servers?! Seriously, this bit of information does not need to be in the notes unless you want to have giggles. --

no problems on the 3 pc's in our house that we all play on. No problems before the patch either. UI fonts are still too small for hi-res modern displays (19" or larger LCD's), and give us nasty headaches but other than this, smoother than it has been in years.

22" LCD here reporting no font issues everything works fine and always has, then again i don't try and play it at some silly res just because i can :P
No real patch issues all seems well and everything i do seems to work fine :)
Nice work :)
